Venturing can lead a person to many places and can introduce a person to many people. When you travel, you come across different lifestyles. Some are quaint and humble, others are cold and detached; some are crowded with bustling people, others are spread out with calm faces. It isn’t uncommon for small towns to stand miles upon miles away from large cities. It also isn’t uncommon for them to lack the wealth it takes to keep a hospital running. So, then, what is a family to do when their child is cursed with a deathly illness? Especially when the cure to that illness lies in a city hospital they can’t get to? Better yet: What do you do when that family asks you to transport their child to that city?
Departure was never such a daunting task. Yes hearts were filled with heavy thoughts of dearly beloved goodbyes yet hope with brimming over the horizon that they would meet once again.
Soon, Goofy and Donald thought it was time to depart even after the trials they went through together and left them to tend to the galaxy alone. The smile never faded as they know the interwoven connections of the heart was always there, even if it was not clearly visible.
An alert triggered in the atmosphere, a sign implanted in the warriors of the keyblade throttled his glider faster to descend upon the planet. And he was right, the air surged with outburst of calls- following the trail to an isolated area, already heading their cries and prayers for a miracle. He touched down, shedding his metallic form knowing it may possibly be alien from their own beliefs. But he acts as normally as he would be, especially under their circumstances he shouldn't place himself nor them under more pressure.
This was his purpose, his goal.
Holding the keyblade in hand his words strong with purpose to defend the light from the dark shadows that continue to snuff out whatever light may remain and he was intended to use it as a symbol of hope to all worlds.
A balled fist rapped on the door, opened to two disheveled parents- looking to the boy in a mix of confusion and faith. It was like they knew exactly what his presence was for from a single look, once fled into the shadows to reemerge with child in hand. The brunette gives the child a warm smile as soon as their eyes came into contact, "Hey there." He greets with a gentle tone, soon the child is cupped in his arms and the brunette nods to the parents with a determined look. "I promise I will help your son." And with that, he fled with glider to the city illuminant over in the distance leaving a burning trail of sparks.
Time passes and the parents faith would only stand so little, fractured of fear that they'll lose their child forever to the curse that laid upon him. But roaring engines passing bolts them from their crouched form to the doorway, ignoring as chairs they once sat in tumble from their quick hasted movements, eyes wide and fastened to see if their child has returned muttering 'oh please, oh please' and praying to whatever higher power beyond the sea of stars in the sky to let it be true.
Sora in response lifted him arm, and there was the child
- the curse untainted from his body, the brunette just smiled as he witnessed they running into each others arms, tears split over cheeks and confessions crying out into the wind.
No thanks could ever be too much, seeing the picture of a family with little hop brought back back together again, it could only be a miracle. That alone was enough for him.
