Welcome to my indie role playing blog for Macalaure Canafinwe / Maglor. This is a side-blog for @sorrowssinger so asks and follows will come from there.

I have written Maglor/Cana for several years so if anything I write seems off it is likely because I decided I like my headcanon better than canon or I have drifted from what was originally canon over time.

You can use Kanafinwe Makalaure but I prefer to use the letter c instead of the letter k for his names. (Ironically it seems that the letter c is more commonly associated with the Teleri instead of the Noldor.)

I may add more to this later, but for now that's all.

Reblog if it's okay to simply leave a ❤️ in the comments of your posts to signify a "like" in lieu of the like button.

Whether it's because of sideblogs and/or just personal preference to keep their likes limited to only certain things so they can them easier later, not everyone hits the like button to let others know they read and enjoyed their headcanons, meta, ooc posts, or whatever.

Leaving a heart (of whatever color you prefer) or some other emoji can be welcome when engagement is often at a low point when it's not direct in-character posts. Letting your mutuals know you've seen, read, and liked their stuff is as important is writing threads together. A simple emoji can go a long way towards making someone's day when they're making posts that may otherwise seemingly get ignored if no one actually lets them know that they've read them.

I want to start by apologizing. I had no intention of vanishing like I did. It has nothing to do with anyone or anything here.

Mostly I have just been really burned out on dealing with people on line while also dealing with some stuff off line. The biggest of which is my mom broke her arm and I am her main caretaker during the day.

I honestly have no idea how long it will take before I am properly back and around to role play again. Even with that I am trying to be around periodically and check my messages.

So if I have seemed to just ghost people I apologize, that was never my intention.

Slowly stalks his uncle from the shadows, slipping ever closer to his elder until he is nearly directly behind him.

"Boo!"

His ears twitch as his nephew stalks closer, a faint smile on his face as he continued to feign obliviousness. When he heard that call he jerked as though startled and turned.

"I was referring more to the fact that apparently you are secretly a girl... though they do like you tragic, do they not?"

"Oh, I see. It seems someone found my secret dress collection. They do look lovely, don't they?"

"Mmm... yes, I suppose you would make a very pretty girl, Cana. Until you get terrifying, that is. Not that girls cannot be scary, but usually it doesn't result in them covered in the blood of their enemies while smirki--- actually, on second thought maybe you are a girl."

"I must admit... I am not entirely certain whether I should be flattered by the comparison or upset at the other implications within that statement."

Slides into bed behind him and peppers his neck with kisses, but there is a difference in her appearance,she's not just here for affection ( well not much anyway ). Her hair is a brilliant shade of copper. Reasons unknown. It sounded funny before she lost her train of thought.

Maglor hummed softly, his eyes flickering open as he hand settled gently over hers. His thumb rubbed the back of her hand before moving to her wrist before glancing back at her. The copper red hair startled him for a moment and he gave a laugh, his other hand moved to tug playfully at one of the locks. "Decided to try something new?"

“Maitimo, look at what your Father has said. Don’t tell me he’s secretly a Vanya.”

Maitimo stared at the quote, then looked to Celebrian with a dubioua glance. Unlike some, he was not going to have a breakdown about this. "Well, time to tell Cana and Curvo they're adopted. Again. Who knew I was such a prophet?"

"Cana? Curvo? Apparently Atya is a vanyar and you dark haired brothers are adopted. Sorry you had to find out this way."

"Well... I already suspected as much. Granted I was not sure which parent I was adopted by." Macalaure murmurs, he taps his fingers lightly against the tabletop. He gave his brother a slow smile, tilts his head. "Just imagine how our cousins would react once they discover this, that he is not a Noldo after all."
