Do you think matching couples are cute? New DLC Announced for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar

A set of costume DLC that matches you up with your special someone was announced in a new DLC pack for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar on the Japanese PR page for the series. You can either purchase a full set, matching you with every candidate, or separate sets that match just the boys or girls, depending on your tastes.

Full set, 1000 円, half sets 600 円 each.

So far, these aren't available on Steam or international platforms outside Japan, but will likely appear in the next day or so. This post will be updated accordingly at that time.

For all y'all smart folks who still avoid Twitter, the official PR accounts have posted some really cute artwork! At the top is artwork by legendary series artist Igusa Matsuyama celebrating the game's release as well as photos of some absolutely adorable foodstuffs by artist @everydaybewear! They did some really cute Rune Factory ones back in January, too!

The only reason I made my own version of this is because a couple of flowers they named weren't accurate according to the RFGoA Artbook (I don't blame them because they deduced these things before the game even released).

Winter 2026 Exchange Sign-Ups open!

Sign-ups are open through December 28th! New to this year's form is the fact that SoS GrB is an option, and there is also a space to include information/references for a farmer OC if you would like! The part of the guidelines I want to most highlight is choosing which games you want to make/receive a gift for. I do have this mentioned in the "rules" on ao3, but just to reiterate, it can be very difficult to match when participants only select one game/express heavy preference towards one game. This is probably the #1 obstacle I encounter when matching people up, and why sometimes matches only have one game in common. I definitely get having favorites, because I'm the same way, and I do not want to exclude anyone. In all likelihood, if someone wants to participate but does not have more than one game selected, they would be paired with me, since I am familiar with nearly every game in the series, enough to create a piece for it. And I'm fine with that! But I can not promise this will be the case (since I might have to match up with someone else who I can't find a match for).
