Ingredients: 8 oz pasta. 4 tbsp unsalted butter. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 8 oz mushrooms, sliced. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish.
Instructions: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat until it starts to brown, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until mushrooms are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the creamy mushroom sauce. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
