Savor the decadent, fudgy goodness of these brownies made without gluten. They are the ideal way to sate your cravings for chocolate and are quite simple to make.
Ingredients: 200g 7 oz gluten-free dark chocolate. 150g 5.3 oz unsalted butter. 200g 1 cup granulated sugar. 3 large eggs. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 75g 2/3 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour. 25g 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 100g 3.5 oz chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 180C 350F. Grease and use parchment paper to line a 20cm 8-inch square baking pan. Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter in 30-second bursts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth. As an alternative, you can double boiler melt them all together in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. After melting, take the pan off the heat and thoroughly mix in the powdered sugar. One egg at a time, add them and mix thoroughly after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and stir. Sift the unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, and gluten-free all-purpose flour together in a different bowl. Stirring until just combined, gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir the chopped nuts into the brownie batter, if desired. Transfer the brownie mixture into the baking pan that has been ready and level it out. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges with a few moist crumbs rather than wet batter. Take the brownies out of the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan before slicing. Cut into squares once cooled, then savor your delectable gluten-free chocolate brownies!
