That one thing

I know I haven't been posting for a week, but that's because I've been really busy.. And I'm very sorry about it! This week, I broke out of my inhibition of trying to apply to a foreign university. Now, for someone who has never lived away from home, I personally consider this a personal achievement.. I guess this is crucial to my 'Growing Up' timeline. What's was crucial to your 'Growing Up' timeline? I'm waiting to know!

Lies My Heart Tells My Brain

Hey there you guys! I'm sorry I've been a little busy, but I'm back... Here are a few lies my heart tells my brain and I know I'm not supposed to, but I guess I do go along after all! 1. Just one more piece of Cake - Now, let's all be real... We know that this is the code for "I'm gonna eat cake till I can eat no more" riiiight? 2. I'll do it Tomorrow - Huh? Isn't tomorrow the day I'd postponed yesterday's things to, too??? What the? 3. The song is okay, I guess... - Hell no! When it's Music, it's love or hate... There's old love, new love, old hate, new hate and a whole range in between... But "okay" is not an adjective for music.. No. 4. I'll keep up with all my resolutions - Wait... What? When did I even think that? Oh Gods no! 5.ill reply to this text a little later - Again, by now, my brain ought to know that "Later" equals "Never". Anyhow! My brain gets carried away EVERY time... Telltales and Teetotalers

Hello everyone! Today, I want to tell you a little story. There was once a little girl who had grown up with her father and her grandparents, since the early death of her mother. But when she turned 16, a lot of things changed in her life and the sum of it all was down to this - She had an elder brother from the same parents whom her father and grandparents knew nothing about. They couldn't be told, either, for then, the truth about the girl's mother's death too, would come out. So here was a girl, who had wanted an elder brother, all her life; and now when life did give her her brother - she could barely even be a proper sister to him. They loved each other more than anything else and that was certain. Yet, fate was cruel, and within a year of the revelation, the brother's life was taken away by an accident. This girl, our strong girl, was shaken but picked up her pieces and moved on. But when she began again in a new place, she found someone who was JUST like her brother to her.. And they grew very very close. But out of nowhere, this new friend-brother too, started behaving funnily.. He would not talk to her, he would ignore her, and even if she forced him to converse, it would be dry, forced and even mechanical. So, lost is this girl - she knows not what to do. Does she tell those who matter? Does she take things into her hand? What do you think she should do? What would you do if you were her? Let me know! :D

Parenty movies

Hey guys! First off, parenty is a word I just came up with, so to all the Grammar Nazis, I'm sorry! 😜 Right, so growing up (due to reasons I shall explain at a later point in time) I always loved movies which celebrated good parent-child relationships... And since I've never seen this sort of a list on any other blog, here is a list of some of my favourite Parenty movies of all time: 1. The Game Plan 2. Imagine That 3. Journey 2 (though it's Sean's step dad, it still sorta counts.. Come on!) 4. What a Girl Wants 5. John Tucker Must Die (because the mother-daughter relation is amazing) 6. Friday the 13th 7. One Fine Day 8. Life As We Know It 9. Ramona and Beezus 10. Spider-Man (again, the Uncle and Aunt are even better than parents!) These are not in any particular order and just off the top of my head. Terrible

I'm in a terrible mood now, though my exams just got over.. I'm just one of those girls who seems to have been born at the wrong time.. I want to be free! I want to be happy! I want to be me... And when I try to do that, there are about 10 different reasons for every breath I take, why "I shouldn't." I've always been taught to be sophisticated and "nice" but I'm tired of being this girl... For the first time ever, I feel like someone who isn't real... I feel like Rose, at the beginning of the Titanic.. I want to be sarcastic and say that's because my own Leo is right round the corner; but I can't... And that's because I'm on the verge of giving up... I'm sorry.. Sorry you had to read this. Sorry I'm alive. Sorry for everything 😞

Little acts of kindness

I had to share this with you... I had an exam this morning, and as I was walking to my exam hall, there were these two boys who were standing in the middle of the road and asking everyone approaching to move aside. I couldn't make out what was going on, but as I got closer, I saw that there was a beautiful, huge Yellow Butterfly on the ground, unable to fly.. They saw it and didn't want it to get hurt. I don't know why, but seeing this made me really happy.. They picked it up gently, very gently and let it onto the branch in a nearby hedge without hurting it... They really gave me hope that goodness does exist in this world.. Despite everything! Have you seen or been a kind stranger today? Let me know as a comment or in a message! I really don't know a lot of people like me, but I am someone who can read Anything... Literally anything. To me, the Genre, Author, Style, Ideal age group, No. of words - none of these matter, at all!
