Illyana is constantly thinking of the future - but she rarely plans long-term for it. The future is flexible, few know that so well as time-travelers, so any plans must also account for that flexibility and changeability.

“Oh, so they know her, an’ they cut her some slack,” Rogue tried to summarize. Cutting Kitty some slack meant they didn’t attack her and try to suspend her in the air and wait until Illyana got home. Rogue smiled though. “You don’t have to go modifyin’ the spell on my behalf. Ah’ll just not walk into your room uninvited again, sounds pretty simple to me.”

Rogue chuckled. “Don’t worry, Ah won’t call you Magikbus. As for Scott, you might try callin’ him that. See if he gets it, see what he thinks.” She adjusted the backpack on her shoulder. “The movie starts soonish. Wanna head out?”

Illyana shrugged, “More her powers have a reputation and they know anything they attempt will be ineffectual and won’t waste energy.” If they could, she was fairly certain they would attempt to attack Katya - but familiarity with her alternate self, the one who had taught Illyana to fight, to survive, made them wary. Rightfully so. “No, no, it’s a flaw I need to correct. Which is the whole point of attending a school. It’d be nice to have more magical courses here though, don’t you think? Counterspells, how to recognize or sense a spell nearby...” 

“Always appreciated,” She grinned, chuckling a bit at the idea. “Of course-” a short nod before Illyana closed her eyes, manifesting glowing disks beneath both of their feet to whisk them through Limbo and to the theater. “-can’t be late and get bad seats, right?”
