"Ethan! It's you!" Lyra shouts to the boy happily, running over the hills to him, stopping briefly at the top to catch her breath before running down the rest of the way and tackling him in a hug.
Ethan turned at the call of his name. He was looking rather beat up and scruffy, like a walking corpse— However that all changed when he spotted Lyra. It was like life ignited back into him, and he ran up to go catch her if she were to trip.
He fell onto his back at the tackle, his arms damn near popping her head off, he was hugging her so tightly, “Arceus! Lyra! I knew you weren’t dead!”
Ethan placed his hand on Lyra’s and simply shook his head, “Hey, Lyra, I found a place to live if you’re interested! The rent’s pretty easy, not too much! I’ve been getting these small jobs that help pay for all of my rent and even more!”
He smiled at her, leaning up to where the tips of their noses touched. He leaned back a little, his cheeks red, “It’s a whole town inside a ship!”
She sighed, trying to move her hands away to treat the wounds, but gave up as he shook his head. She listened carefully as he spoke, giving it some thought.
"You mean, we'd... Live together?"
The idea made her heart swell up with happiness. Lyra blushed as their noses touched, and she tilted her head to place a small kiss on the tip of his nose.
"That'd be great! And on a boat, too! Like when you saved me from that big scary thing!"
However, in her excitement, she forgot just what her voice did when she didn't use it much and she decided to speak a mile a minute. She began coughing, covering her mouth with her fist and angling her face away from Ethan.
"I'͠d ĺik̛e to see̵ ͞i̢t̷, th͝o͏ugh!"
