I think it's very interesting how bateditorial and fans of the batfamily use the excuse that Dick cannot be part of the batfamily and be together with Kory at the same time because of *insert numerous nonsensical reasons why that would not work*, considering not only what an interesting couple dynamic that would be, but more importantly: how DCAMU did exactly that, and did it beautifully.
In all those movies Dick is still shown in the batfamily, doing things on his own, while at the same time maintaining a very loving and stable relationship with Kory. And it's done in very simple ways when they are apart from each other: phone calls or skyping. But then again, Sam Liu and the other DCAMU writers were fans of dickkory. It just goes to show that bateditorial simply loathes dickkory, it has absolutely nothing to do with the "they wouldn't work in batfamily" excuse.
i would think they would want him to have other interests and relationships outside of the family you know, to be a well-rounded person.
i don’t want to hate on anyone’s preferences but it just doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. but i digress, i can not change anyone’s mind.
i just wish that excuse wasn’t made because it’s just not true. it’s fine if they don’t like dickkory. people don’t have to love them but saying they just “wouldn’t work” is not true.
