hey so, as you can see here i’ve been working on a little programming project called Clan Generator, in which you can choose from a bunch of randomized cats to build a little clan out of. yay!

basically this is, at least for now, just meant to give inspiration for warriors OCs (or just have fun generating cats) BUT i have been wanting to expand this in some ways to make it a sort of text-based game in which you make decisions and watch the clan grow and develop. I don’t know how long that would take me if I ever really get to it, but I have been excited to try.

anyway, I would really love it if some wc fans tried this out (as un-pretty as it looks right now lol). any ideas for characters/designs etc. you may get from this are of course free to use.

some helpful sites to help u make a warrior cats oc!!

if u ever need any help w/ making a warrior cats oc, i’ve found a few sites that might be quite helpful to anyone who needs it / who might need some help w/ designing or naming their character!!!

- ailuronymy is an EXTREMELY helpful blog on here who helps w/ traditional naming!!! even if ur not into traditional naming / use diff suffixes, this blog has a whole list of prefixes and the coat color that’d work for it!!!

- for genetics, i made a whole masterpost of sites that’d be helpful, but THIS site is wonderful as a very basic guide on how cat genetics work!! it’s more of a step by step and offers the rules for how cat genetics work, and it’s very VERY helpful in learning the basics!!

- THIS is one of the many many cat creators u’ll be able to find; u’ve probably seen this many times, but i thought i’d offer up the cat creator so u can create some markings / looks for ur characters if u cant draw them / arent up to drawing them!!

for now this is all i have, but here are some starter kits for anyone who wants to create a wc oc but is stuck atm!!!

Oh, and calico tabbies are called calibies (sing caliby).

Also, I heavily simplified the brown tortoiseshell thing. If you want more detail, look that crap up. I’m too tired to explain.
