I found that writing to cello covers of songs is the best way to lock in.

I have also just found that the cello cover of Counting Stars is an exception. That shit is such straight goddamn gas holy fuck I didn't know I could love cello more than I already did. Went from most locked in I have ever been to straight jamming out.

Pro tip for editing: you are a toddler. Why. Why. Why. Ask why to everything. Why do they want this? Why is this significant? Why would this other, easier way NOT work? Why is this event happening? Why is this lore thing significant?

I have so many little random thoughts I want to put on tumblr and I often have multiple close together and go "awwh no, I hope I don't forget that other idea while I leave space between my posts" cause I'm worried about spamming too many things.

Writing desperation is genuinely peak cause it goes from me describing how foot falls echo through a character as their feet hit the wet cobblestones; to almost purely thoughts of them panicking as their body moves before their brain can stop them.

When you love villain dialogue and you want them to be the main character but you also write women main characters and you don't want it to feel like those cliche, badass, sassy "don't need anyone", smarter than all the other characters kinda main character
