Feliciano Vargas, an Italian fighting for a free Italy, finds himself a bit cornered when he is “saved” by the German pilot, Ludwig Beilschmidt. The two of them share a sort of bond, two outcasts tired of war. It’s not long before Feliciano realizes his rather taboo feelings for the German. He doesn’t know what to do. It would be taboo, treason even, to be in love with a German, but Ludwig is just so perfect in his eyes. Living in his own fantasy world he and Ludwig agree to have a secret relationship. Now Feliciano struggles between his homosexual love, his countries freedom, and the harsh reality that Ludwig is not as great as he seems.

I also want to thank everyone who has supported me while writing this fanfiction. It genuinely does mean the world to me especially because it’s my first like actual fanfiction. (My last one was only 900 words and I only wrote it because I was bored.) But posting the chapters and getting all these reactions is so wonderful! Thank you guys so much and stay tuned!!!! (Also, I’m aware Ludwig’s uniform is technically wrong in the art. I didn’t even realize until like a week after I drew it and since Ive posted it multiple times I can’t really go back and change it.)
