this is the photo Cheng Xiaoshi dives into and immediately emerges out of to take the bullet for Lu Guang

and over the course of the 1 hour episode, we see the events leading up to this photo being taken:

Lu Guang officially agreeing to join the photo studio and Cheng Xiaoshi asking Qiao Ling to find their camera so they can take a photo to commemorate this day

and if this is the same past that Cheng Xiaoshi dived back into to and emerged out of to teleport himself between Lu Guang and Vein, then whoever set up the camera timer for this group photo (either Cheng Xiaoshi or Qiao Ling) got briefly possessed by future!Cheng Xiaoshi seconds before he got shot. AND LU GUANG HAS TO POSE FOR THIS PHOTO, KNOWING THIS! He probably sees Cheng Xiaoshi or Qiao Ling's eyes briefly glowing yellow, knowing this is future!Xiaoshi on his way to saving him, and CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO PREVENT HIM FROM GOING TO HIS DEATH 😭
