(headcanon: when a transformer’s spark goes to the afterlife/allspark/whatever, they get absorbed and dissolved into the greater collection of energy - but just before that happens, the transformer will be able to see whoever else that’s died for just a little while and be with them in person [or rather in spark] before joining with the collection of every other deceased spark and becoming part of the subconscious group. basically their consciousness gets assimilated into the whole and put to rest and communicate with that whole while being soothed into an eternal dreamlike state.)

TFA Terminus design ideas!!!! been thinking about his and Megatron’s relationship in The Brave Shall Heed the Call again and crying, so I thought I’d try my hand at him (in any case I’ve been meaning to try designing him for a good while).

I designed the buckethead one first, basing it off of both Megatron’s design (as he and Terminus were of similar make) and Alex Milne’s MTMTE design - but then I realized that with the time frame in BSHTC, he would have never had an Earth-style reformat and thus, never had a bucket head. so then I redesigned him with a Cybertronian form helmet based off Megatron again!

this is only a first pass so I may refine this more later - and I might go further with it to try and push the differences between him and Megs, because that’s I worry that they look too similar. @_@ but I like these designs as a start!!!

anyways. I wanted to try my hand at designing Megazarak, the original leader of the Decepticons in TFA’s canon, because there are some scenes in The Brave Shall Heed the Call that I want to draw with him………. namely hIM GETTING HIS SKIDPLATES KICKED *coughs* anyways. I took inspiration from both the writing (in which he’s described as being similar to Megatron in frametype), and from the few Megazarak designs from different continuities that I could find on TFwiki - there was one that had these interesting stag beetle-like pincer protrusions on his head, and since he’s cast as being part of the ancient elite I thought a bit of esoteric shapeliness would suit him. :>

anyways: he’s horrible and awful and Megatron did pretty good, exiling him. GOOD RIDDANCE, YOU TERRIBLE ROBOT.

The Brave Shall Heed The Call by MllMusketeer has some awesome ships, but I think my favorite one is Strika and Ratchet because they are both fucking great in every sense and I love Strika so much. I’m waiting for more Windblade/Slipstream because is cute and MllMusketeer makes everything work.

Oh yeah, and of course I fucking adore Optimus and Megs relationship. Did you already read the last chapter??? Megs reaction to the news was PERFECT.

The Decepticon fleet moved in silent majesty before them, an array of dull purple shapes in the weak light of a red dwarf. Ratchet stared. Command ships, cities in their own right, with battlecruisers and dreadnoughts pacing them, looking tiny by comparison, the attendant crowds of smallships, and the glitter of shortrange shuttles traveling between them.

“How many?” he asked.

One of the Decepticons near him snorted. “Not as many as there should be,” she said. “That’s the whole fleet, Autobot. That’s all that’s left of us.”

Ratchet looked again. A massive fleet, but if it were the only one…

Three command ships. He hadn’t counted the rest, but he knew that the Elite Guard boasted at least five.

“That’s all we have left of home,” the Decepticon said, and there was real sadness in her voice.

Optimus had moved forward and was now standing just behind Cyclonus, staring at the fleet. Ratchet looked at him, at the silhouette against the glitter of starlight on glass, the long red gleam of the hulls, and exvented heavily.

They’d arrived. They were free.

And all their hopes were pinned on one young mech who might be a Prime, and this one great broken fleet that was all that remained of an empire that had held the galaxy in terror.

so remember when I read that 80 chapter fic in one day??? I’ve been rereading it a lot and I’m finally drawing stuff from it! the fic in question is called The Brave Shall Heed the Call - a story detailing what could happen after Season 3 of TFA, starting with Optimus getting forced out of the Magnus position and terrible things happening in Sentinel Magnus’ government on Cybertron. DEFINITELY read the warnings thoroughly, because there’s a lot of serious stuff involved in the story…. but goooooosh, it’s a really compelling and interesting read. >O<

anyways! tiny scenes from the earlier chapters. chapter numbers are in the captions if you wanna know. and no, Optimus isn’t beheaded, he’s just strapped to a medical berth and in forced stasis. >_>
