on Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass”
i like to push my body to the limit but not in the healthy living way more like in the how much pasta can i eat before im unable to physically move way
Visual Communication first project: combining two contrasting objects together. I made a mini series based on the theme ‘Adulthood vs Childhood’. or maybe I should call it “clash of different intoxicating things ” I love this multi-themed creation.
reblogging twice because i fucking love this photo. the trust is insane
i didn’t think of reblogging this before i read ‘the trust is insane’ shit it is
Oh my god this is so fucking dumb. This isn’t about trust or love or anything. You never know what the fuck will happen with a gun. It can go off accidentally, something that can happen to the person holding the gun that can make them hit the trigger. You never fucking know. I know someone whose uncle was killed because he had a gun in the back seat of a car, it was broken and it fired and shot him in the head. I’ve lost someone to a gun. Even if it is a fake gun in this picture it makes me so fucking sick that so many people would reblog this with how cool it is I hate this fucking website and how ignorant people are.
can we talk about cyntoia brown for a moment though
cyntoia brown is a girl who is serving life in prison after being wrongly tried as an adult at the age of 16.
she was forced into sex work by her abusive boyfriend, and was picked up by a 43 year old johnny allen on a street corner. she then impulsively shot him out of fear, not intending to kill him, when he started acting threatening towards her. she was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder during her trial as a result of severe abuse over many years.
johnny allen was committing a sex crime against an underage mentally ill girl forced into sex work against her will. cyntoia brown committed manslaughter out of self defense at the age of 16 and is now in jail for life after being tried as an adult for first degree murder.
please reblog this, and sign this petition, because seriously not enough people know about this.
Abled people get really weird when disabled people are better than them at something
and by weird I mean ableist and hurtful as fuck
it’s frustrating that talking openly about your own disability is considered tacky, unprofessional, or somehow juvenile
as if these things somehow magically disappear when you’ve reached an arbitrary age of majority
as if you ever reach an age where you stop being, idk, yourself?
I want every high school age kid in a wheelchair, who uses crutches, or who is sure that their bodies are too weird and messed up to be loved, to read these letters before they graduate into adulthood.
A black and white photo of disabled activists, most in wheelchairs, proudly marching under a banner that reads ‘Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.’ - Martin Luther King Jr.
This happened half an hour from the town where my parents live and where I live when I’m not at uni. I’ve been the place where it happened.
I don’t know what to say. I’m so scared and upset by this. This is virtually on my front door step. Luton is covered by the Bedfordshire Police Constabulary, the same constabulary that is responsible for policing my home. It’s fucking scary.
When you fall backwards and can’t get up, feeling like a helpless turtle.
Awkward airport pat-downs.

Cops Kidnap Blind Man, Dump Him on the Side of the Road in the Middle of Nowhere
On the night of August 27, four plainclothes police officers pulled up to an apartment complex in South Dade and arrested three young black men.
A bystander caught the interaction on video.
According to police, the three men were arrested because officers claimed to witness the horrible crime of passing a marijuana cigarette.
The men were arrested for possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, and forced to sign citations promising to appear in court.
Two of the men were let go, but cops threw the third man, Burke, into the back of their unmarked car. Burke was unable to even find the cop car.
After kidnapping him, Burke estimates that police drove him around for twenty minutes before dropping him off in a desolate section of South Dade.
Finally, after walking with one foot on the pavement and one in the weeds, a stranger came to his aid and led him home.
Burke, who has never been convicted of a crime, has been arrested twice and detained by police on more than a dozen other occasions. Being stopped and handcuffed in his neighborhood, he said, is nothing new.

…………………
Idg how many more stories of innocent people being attacked and maimed and killed by the police there can be until the media that reports these stories can like put 2 and 2 together and actually discuss the larger issue at hand bc frankly this is disgusting and it should be stopped
i don’t have anymore words…just read this
It has to happen to white ppl for this to be considered an issue. Right now its just “black people getting what they deserve”
*Stares pointedly at the so-called disability community to champion and defend this man*
