Item: The Memory Squeegee Rarity: ā¶ Common
What game would you erase from your memory just to experience it for the first time again?
Feed your dashboard by answering my question, blogger.
The Outer Wilds because not only do I love that game but the narrative sense of discovery in that is just so well done that my first playthrough will always be special
babe wake up ao3 came up with the only funny april fools joke in the history of the world
The blog post is pretty great too.
Oh no the snake is addicting
#1 thing you can do to be a better driver is to be at peace with going the wrong direction for a little while.
like it is not the end of the world if you miss your turn. all the roads are connected to all the other roads. you will find your way very quickly.
unless you're experiencing a genuine emergency, dont even think about making a sudden movement, ESPECIALLY across one or more lanes, just to avoid missing a turn
just relax. be at peace with the way the universe has led you. who knows you might discover something you never would have seen, like a nice restaraunt or a park you didn't know about. just. fucking relax
The best driving advice I ever got was "you get there when you get there."
Miss a turn? It's okay. You get there when you get there.
Left the house late? Nothing you can do about it now. You get there when you get there.
Stopped by a train, or an accident on the highway? It's out of your hands. You get there when you get there.
I know all of these things can be anxiety-inducing. But by the time you're in the car experiencing them, no crazy maneuver will make a meaningful difference in the time it takes to get where you're going, and that maneuver will be at the cost of your safety and others.
Nothing is more important than your life.
You get there when you get there.
Got tagged by @omegastation, thanks! This was fun!
Last Song: Osmosis by Good Kid has been the most recent ear worm but also Valentine by Laufey, also got put onto the album Home Video by Lucy Dacus by @small-queer-totties (This one hits so hard in the paint if you grew up queer and religious (and got deeply traumatized for it))
Currently Watching: So Iām highkey terrible at watching stuff. My brains attention span is just dogshit for film/tv. But! my partner did recently watch a polish series (that was dubbed in English) on Netflix called 1670. I watched it absently in the same room and frankly itās hilarious. Itās a āmedivalā era mocumentary about these nobles vying for power in the stupidest ways possible. For what the budget must have been the costuming and art direction are also really cool and fun! Highly recommend giving it a watch!
Reading: Currently working through The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas (its gonna take me like 6 months to get through that book its fucking huge but so far its so fun!) and The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins <- This is a weird ass story ngl. Itās good! The writing is amazing! But the story within is weird in a way where I super donāt know how to feel about yet. Defo gonna be one of those books that will take a while to digest after I finish it.
Current Obsession:
⢠Currently so deeply Sonic pilled in a way that I havenāt been since my early days in college/as a teen. I stopped like, indulging in my interest because I think I got a little too focused over my time in college in being a āserious artistā. I ended up burning out for like a solid six or so years. I donāt know what happened exactly six months ago (other than getting into a car accident lol) but itās like my brain broke back into place? Iām drawing again for the first time and writing and posting my art again on my art blog @alittlegreenraccoon and even posting on AO3 for the first time. Itās been wild frankly what indulging in my special interests again and just letting myself be cringe has done for my mental health. Like I am in the trenches frequently but the trench is a lot more bearable when Iām drawing on the walls and writing my little stories.
⢠Anyways, Iāve also been obsessed with coloring with alcohol markers lately and I ended up buying the full set of Blick brand alcohol markers and theyāre like butter! (Gonna be honest Iād recommend them over Copic if you have the money to drop. I have tried Copics and frankly I wasnāt that big of a fan) Also posca pens! Theyāre chunky and take some getting used to but the way they can layer on top of each other is so fun to work with.
⢠I havenāt been playing a ton of games lately but before I started doing art again I was really into finding and playing weird indie games on Steam. My current recs are as such: Arctic Eggs- Just go play it I canāt explain this one, Reka- Have you ever wanted to build a house that can walk on giant chicken legs? Yeah like the Baba Yaga! Anyways I have like 60+ hours in that game and its still only in early access lol, Black Shard- Weird esoteric and super abstract walking simulator that sticks you in a non Euclidean labyrinth full of strange ass places and ācharactersā
Iāll tag some of my moots! Obviously, absolutely no pressure to do this if you donāt want to: @small-queer-totties, @savage-rhi, @jaspertheshark, @museconfused, @azenzeph, @ralphidreamer, @feligayzed
Warmup sketch heavily inspired by this gorgeous gorgeous artwork
Bonus Blazamy under the cut

I FINISHED THANK GOD
So excited to eventually see this printed as a double sided bookmark
day barely even started and I already had to hear "thank you for being our wives, sisters, aunts" and "keep being women and giving birth and being delicate unlike us men" as compliments for international women's day
here's to women being transgender childless dykes forever and ever and ever
This image is so powerful. Their stare could zap any homophobe to death.
