That’s exhausting.  I think that the banters we hear, where they say horrible things to each other, are really their “greatest hits” of arguments, as told by Varric.   There’s many more moments where Fenris and Merrill commiserate over the dangers of shoelessness or Anders and Sebastian get giggly from a bad pun. Maybe they’re not BFFs 4eva but they can definitely sit down to a nice meal together and say “pass the butter” without tearing each others’ throats out.
