Here is my Starbound oc: Alcady Lathons!
He was initially a farmer after being adopted as an orphan by the town food grower, and taking over the farm when his dad passed until gaining self awareness and training with the sword to keep himself occupied. Always had a strong sense of justice and independence, with those feelings only being exacerbated after getting kicked out of his village when his self awareness came to light and joining the Terrene protectorate...only to graduate on that fateful day and become one of the few survivors of the disaster. Now he nomadically roams the universe exploring and collecting, not wanting to lose what little he has left. He dedicates his life to helping those in need and fighting the forces of evil with his Violium Broadsword, as a true knight should.

"Surprised, Asra Nox! Reminiscent, I haven't seen you since I took out your Swansong a few years ago. Nostalgic, you gave me a run for my money back then, I only survived by using an ungodly amount of nanowrap bandages and an assault rifle after you blew up my mech! Apologetic, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to brag. ...Pondering, say...I have a proposition for you. You're on parole, legally need someone to watch you so you don't go doing anymore genocides, and aren't trusted to be in custody of pretty much anyone due to your battle strength. Realizing, so why not live on my ship as a crew member?"

(Asra regards the Glitch coldly as he approaches. She doesn't want to say anything bad, but can't help but fall back on old habits. On top of that, Asra has fought so many people over the years that it's hard to remember specific faces.)
Asra: Who are you, again? My captain is the one who hijacked my Swansong. She had enough Pixels saved up to pay for damages. If your mech was so unstable that it blew up, then maybe you should have visited that penguin at the Outpost and upgraded it some more.

(A green Novakid comes over to see what the disturbance is. She wears casual clothes instead of the standard Protectorate gear. Seeing Asra get stressed like this makes her roommate nervous. However, when there's no cause for alarm, the Novakid puts her guns back in their holster.)
Asra: Kalkaline, a Glitch has crashlanded on our property. Handle this for me.
Kalkaline: Jeez, Asra, are ya that unfriendly toward strangers? From what this guy was sayin', I reckon he just wants to negotiate.
(Kalkaline has a diamond-shaped brand for a face, but it looks like she's smiling.)
Sorry fer rudeness. I've already hired Asra as my first mate, so she's not job huntin' at the moment. But we always need more crew members on The Wham-O. Feel free to drop by this place anytime if ya wanna visit in the future!

Just watering the plants in my garden. I moved in with the captain, and we built a house in a peaceful biome. So I'm trying to keep busy.

June update
Mod: I haven't gotten much in the way of asks, but this blog is still open. If Chucklefish ever updates Starbound, then maybe people will show more interest. The theme is pretty cluttered. I'd like to fix formatting and update it with original art

I was looking up facts about Cormorants to find a title for this and found out about the liver bird a mythological creature from liverpool that is literally just a cormorant which I find kinda funny
