NSFW ban fail
Reblog if you’re still seeing porn bots despite the NSFW ban. I’m still seeing them. Plenty of legitimate followers seem to be blocked from my feed, however.
Can anyone see this post?
Did this side blog survive the purge?

The backgrounds of the Master Chief Collection
I’ve managed to capture the backgrounds for each of the games in Halo The Master Chief Collection. Going from top left to bottom right we have:
Halo The Master Chief Collection
Halo Combat Evolved / Anniversary
Halo 2 / Anniversary
Halo 3
Halo 3: ODST
Halo 4

Though the attempt to reassure the AI was sweet and admirable the chief engineer didn’t seem to get her point. “I think they rejected me because I’m not really a living thi-” She was about to finish her thought when the woman mentioned that they had another holographic person on board. It made the girl go silent before a quiet “Oh..” slipped past her lips as she was surprised to realize she wasn’t the only artificial construct here on the ship. “This explains why you weren’t startled by me when I appeared.. More than you were, I mean.”
The long silence had Quarra worried enough for her to open her mouth with the idea of suggesting to wait until she would have been tested for safety but it was then when Naomi decided to accept her offer to help out with the papework she had clearly been avoiding so far.
“Okay.” It was a simple one word answer but the tone the AI had let on how eager she was to prove herself even if it was with this simple task. When her new friend turned away Quarra tried her best to stretch herself over the boundaries of the holoprojector in attempt to look past Naomi and see what she was doing while rummaging through the cabinets but it was one thing she couldn’t do. Though it was soon revealed she didn’t need to do it as the woman turned to face her once more with a victorious grin while showing the wire that soon found itself connecting the AI’s holoprojector to the the engineer’s desk terminal.
The little figure would then stretch her arms well above her head and twist her head from side to side as if preparing to work though it was clear the holographic lady didn’t really need to do this. It was a human like mannerism from a construct that tried to act accordingly to her role as one of them despite her being 20 centimeters tall and not real in the first place. “Gladly.” She smiled and then lit up brightly as the data streams across her skin started to flow freely as she started to process the knowledge she was given the access to.
“So you smell like work then.” Quarra concluded as the woman lowered herself to be at eye level with her. “But you don’t have to worry about the paperwork anymore if you keep me around.” The Ai rest her hands on her hips with a confident smile as she stared her into those big brown eyes of hers. With the two of them studying each other the datapads on the desk flickered one by one in quick fashion as they were filled with newly written reports but it all came to a stop as soon as they were interrupted by someone.. Only the work to continue almost immediately few seconds later though with less efficiently.
The new voice startled the small lady who then duck down and curl up while sitting down on the holoprojector in attempt to hide herself behind the piles of datapads from the new comer. Her figure dimmed down and started to flicker as Quarra was about to disappear but stayed there as the conversation between Naomi and the other woman didn’t seem tense nor did the unfamiliar voice sound malicious.
Found it in my desk. Quarra curled up more as she thought back to the FAC Empress how she was it and not her to anyone. Though Naomi didn’t say “ it “ with distaste like they did back then.
The captain of the ship wasn’t the only one who laughed, though the AI did so more quietly, when the chief engineer stuck out her tongue. She would stay silent and with her hands now covering her head which was quite meaningless since as a hologram one could partially see through her features. Quarra peeked at her friend past her hands with a hesitant gaze as Naomi looked down on her in return.
When the captain was motioned to come closer the little lady moved her hands to her sides but kept sitting while facing the other way. She looked over her shoulder to see the blonde woman staring at her with a curious gaze. Quarra looked back at Naomi in search of reassurance which the bright smile on her face provided which prompted her to speak up for herself. “Hi.” The voice was softer and quieter than before as she was still afraid of being rejected by the captain but the way she spoke back and introduced herself pushed most of her doubts away.
“I’m E2-61″ There was a brief pause which was followed by detailed explanation after she stand up to her feet. “I’m part of the second series of an experimental AI’s and I’m the 61th variant of my product line.” It was the exact same words the the chief engineer had heard before which only let on that it was the Ai’s programming speaking and not Quarra. “You can cal-” The last bit was cut off as the lady’s image stuttered as she forced the mandatory introduction to stop halfway in order for Quarra to be able to introduce herself with her own words from now on.
“I will do my part, madam.” She said with conviction as her image became more bright again as the data started to stream freely. “My first interaction with your crew has been a pleasant one, captain.” Quarra looked quickly at Naomi with a hopeful gaze and a smile on her face. The datapads kept flashing in rapid pace for a few more seconds until they were all done. “Chief engineer, you can now hand out your reports to the captain.” The AI looked back and forth between the two women staring down at her with a joyful expression as she felt like she had done a good job clearing the datawork in such a short time.
It was like a child waiting to hear “You did good.“ but no one could blame the AI who was born less than a year ago for it.

spacearmaments:
The artist certainly made an interesting first impression by stumbling in late while trying to balance newly gained art supplies in her arms. Her greeting was upbeat despite her entrance and she went on to talk business right after without wasting more time.
“Glad to see you aren’t intimidated. There is no need to be nervous either.” Laura said with a brief smile before she answered the question. “I must admit that I’m rather new to this so please, feel free to suggest anything after hearing my wishes.” Clearing her throat the captain continued. “The portrait has to be a formal one, though we are already breaking the navy traditions so it’s more of a guideline than a rule. I would like to do something more than just to sit down with a mysterious smile on my face with my arms crossed on my lap.” As tempting as the idea of making a portrait like Mona Lisa’s at this day and age was it wasn’t really what she wanted.
“I was thinking more of something like..” It was clear that the captain was trying to think of something good but didn’t have the artistic eye for it. “At least standing tall, maybe have a pose to show my form instead of the normal upper body portrait everyone does.” There was a sigh and a pause. “Something striking to make the painting stand out from the rest.”
Finished with her explanation the woman moved her arms slightly away from her body and turned around in a full circle before facing the blonde once again. The captain was quite beautiful. A 37 years old woman with a short dark hair and toned body which was subtly complimented by her clothes. Winters was wearing full navy uniform.. A jacket with a collar shirt beneath it, trousers and army boots. In her hand she held her cap and leaning the wall behind her was a sword that was given to her as a gift when she was promoted. It was an old fashioned gift and nowadays quite impractical but it was a mark of authority.
Laura gestured with her hand towards Aria. She was slightly nervous but she didn’t show it. “I would like this to be a collaboration more than having me say what we do. I would like to be your muse.”
Really? Laura was open, yes, but it took more than that to be a muse. A certain specialness that not everyone had but everyone wanted. Still, it was cute that Laura was so ready to help her.
“Alright then. Well why don’t you give me a pose and we’ll work from there. You said full body, right?” Aria takes a larger canvas out and props it up against her easel. She was hoping that it would have just been a waist up portrait, much less hassle, but she wasn’t going to skimp out now cause it was a bit more work.
“You said something striking, yeah? Why don’t pose with your sword too. Maybe have something to rest a foot on or something…” Maybe a stool or something. Aria thought back to all the portrait paintings she’s seen before to see if something else would look good on Laura.
“Tell me, what do you think about lighting. Something bright would emphasize all your sharp angles. It’ll look very intimidating. Oh and background is very important. Something impressive will make you look that much more awesome.” Now that she was thinking about this properly, this was easily going to be a very long piece. Not only would she have to make sure Laura was happy with the idea but she would have to get all the props and background they decide on.
The silence that followed her suggestion put the woman on the edge as she didn’t know how to interpreter it. She had been dreading the thought of having the portrait made but the captain was here now and committed to see it finished.
“A pose?” Laura breathed out feeling relieved with the girl seemingly satisfied with the artless explanation she gave to her. The artist started to prepare the canvas while the model shifted around trying to think of a good pose. “Yes, a full body treatment and all.” Winters chuckled until she stopped moving as she was reminded about her sword. “Oh, I don’t see why not.”
Fetching her sword and holding it in her hand the captain felt a lot more comfortable as she had something familiar in her grasp in unfamiliar situation. “I would love to have the emphasis on light and dark to give it a striking contrast.” With the sword in her hand she made the first attempt on a pose which was also an excuse to show off her form in front of the girl.
“Do I seem intimidating to you, Aria?” She asked as she turned to face the other way. Even through the clothes the girl could see her physique which let on how strong she was, Laura was a battle hardened warrior after all. While turned away she looked to the side, at some distant spot on the wall, which made her upper body shift just enough to show the woman’s chest and the side of her face. Then Winters slid her other foot forward just a bit to use it in a way of guiding the viewers eye to her backside. Her right arm held the sword extended away from her body and it’s tip only a few inches away from scratching the floor boards. Then her free arm settled to rest on her side with her fingers curled up into a fist. It was an agressive pose.
“Do you like this one?” She asked while her gaze focused at the wall which made sure she could only see Aria’s reaction to her form from the corner of her eye. “Don’t be afraid to instruct me or guide me to find a proper pose.” Laura gave the control to the younger girl as for now she was the muse and she was the artist.
