Scorch was halfway through balancing a ration tray on Sev’s helmet when Boss finally barked,

“Scorch, for the love of Mandalore, stop inventing new physics experiments.”

“It’s engineering enrichment,” Scorch protested. The tray slid, clattered, and scattered freeze-dried stew over Sev’s chest plate.

Sev didn’t even blink. “Congratulations,” he said. “You’ve just discovered gravity.”

Fixer leaned against the wall, smirking. “Brilliant. Maybe next week he can discover silence.”
