when someone gets hurt on an away mission, after they wake up she would totally go 100% nagging mother on them. “oh my GOD I was sO WORRIED did you even THINK about how WORRIED I WOULD FEEL. YOU COULD HAVE DIED and if you die I will NEVER FORGIVE YOU”

she gives the best christmas presents of the entire crew. they’re always perfect. she gets uhura tickets to a holographic performance of Ella Fitzgerald. she gets sulu a rare andorian violet. scotty gets that part he’s been looking for for ages but could never find, and now he can finally finish his latest invention. spock gets something vulcan, something to remind him of his home world. jim gets a tiny model of the enterprise custom made for him: a tiny piece of the greatest home he’s ever known.

she would totally dress like a mom too. mom jeans. floral prints. floor length skirts.

she bakes. you cannot tell me that she doesn’t bake. bones swears that she makes the best cookies in the entire galaxy and no one argues because it’s 100% true

there is no bigger romantic on the enterprise than christine chapel. she loves romcoms and sappy movies, and no matter what she always cries at the end. always. because they’re so happy
