Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/Iron Man is another character that I can’t just get enough of!

I’m afraid I’ll never finish college. I’m afraid I’ll finish college with student loans I can never pay back. I’m afraid I’ll get a degree and won’t be able to find a job in that field. I’m afraid I’ll get a degree, get the job I dreamed of, and hate it.

GO WATCH THIS SHOW, HONESTLY IT IS SO AMAZING.
IF THIS POST CREATES 1 NEW PUSHING DAISIES FAN MY LIFE = MADE.
Alright let me help out then:
1) Most of the cast is female. In fact only two main characters are male.
2) Both male characters take typically non-masculine hobbies. Emerson Cod knits almost non-stop and makes pop-up books. Ned is literally called “The Pie-Maker” because he bakes homestyle pies from his mother’s method. Both are shown to be very nurturing and even maternal characters. Conversely, the women? A pair of professional travelling show performers that have gritty sexual scandals the way men usually get (see the entire “Chuck’s father” storylines), a beekeeper who is the single most positive and optimistic character imaginable, and a former professional jockey- Three of four pro athletes.
3) You could very easily make the claim Ned is asexual.
4) Yes, the storyline is about romance. But it’s also about the positive side of a love story, and their only drama lies in overcoming their inability to actually share contact.
5) A very good friend of mine recommended this show to me as “Disney for adults.” I told her it was already on my list to watch because “It’s by Bryan Fuller, from Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me.” Bryan Fuller is now most known for “Hannibal.” The same camera methods and bright colours and lighting techniques Hannibal is known for? Perfected in this show, just using a different tone- The same colour methods in reverse, upping the vivid greens and yellows instead of reds and blues, which sells emotion both ways.
7) Probably one of the best examples of a modern day fairy tale possible.
8) Narrated by Jim Dale- The narrator for the HP audio books.
I don’t know if anyone’s already added links to this, but all of these here work and if you hover over the links, an episode description shows :)

Happy song makes me happy, but dorky boyfriends hugging makes me happier. Both of them are so overwhelmed when they finally get to see each other again in another life.

What's the criteria for numbering the Marvel universes? I know every universe is numbered, I know a few (616, 6160 etc), but I see numbers thrown around even for fanon universes (because by the rules of the multiverse every AU anyone ever writes or draws is some form of canon) and they seem to follow some sort of pattern that I don't get. Is there a rhyme and reason, or is it just keysmashing a calculator?
Reed Richard numbered our universes, so if you’re looking for logic, remember that he numbered his own universe the six hundred and sixth. Any other rational person would have numbered HIS OWN UNIVERSE #1 unless he had a compelling reason to do otherwise, but not Reed Richards, that stretchy motherfucker.
Also important to remember that Marvel Comics is a company which has made an art out of narratively doing irrational things and rationalizing them later.
Anyway, far as I’m aware there’s no logic. There is a theory that the further from 616 in numbering the more different the universe is from the original Marvel canon, but I don’t believe that’s explicitly stated.
The ones I know of are:
616 — Original Marvel canon1218 — Our reality1610 — Ultimate Comics universe3490 — Tony Stark was born female, married Steve Rogers199999 — Marvel Cinematic Universe
Those aren’t the only ones mentioned, I’m sure, but I’m not certain of the numbering for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Armored Adventures, Superhero Squad, etc. Most of those also aren’t referred to by number; 1610 is just called the Ults verse, 199999 is the MCU, etc.
I wasn’t aware of any fan-created universes being numbered, but if they are it’s probably just the fan pulling a number they like.
But, if I am wrong, guys, feel free to comment and correct me. Anon, watch this post’s comments for more details!
