just a girl in her room trying to forgive herself

I’m sorry!!! I’m sorry that we can’t go back!!! And for all the things we can’t remember. But I’m glad we did it!! The love will always be there!

“you said i looked like the moon behind the clouds”
Adélia Prado, from “Denouement”; translated by Ellen Dori Watson
Text ID: I am beginning to despair / and can see only two choices: / either go mad or turn holy.
“yeah no” is one of the best phrases in contemporary English.
I would hold your hand a little longer, as the music played in the background. I would try and make you laugh a little more, make you feel loved and appreciated, let you know that everything would be fine.
There is nothing I wouldn't try to take back all bad. The pain. To go to that moment where I could have made it better. Changed the circumstances. Made better choices. To be in your presence once again. Laughing. Arguing. Silently watching life go on as you told your stories. Shared what you watched online.
All of the things that made you smile.
God, to have known then what I know now. I would ask to have those moments last longer instead of only memories frozen in time.
All I have, now, is this heartache as time flows constantly onward like a river that drowns me in this misery of you not in my life.
