Few weeks before my injury, vs right after. It’s gonna be a long road back. Can barely move my elbow and wrist cannot support any weight. Shoulder hurts but not nearly as much. Elbow also locks a lot. Looks frail. Muscle has clearly atrophied. The skin feels loose and saggyish and very easy to pinch.

Cast finally removed. Bone callus formation can be seen in the after pic. The fracture is filled with cells so it looks darker but it’s just healing. It’s a lot stronger now. The arm can be moved without a cast with almost no pain. The only pain is now coming from severe stiffness in the wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Not bad for 4 weeks immobilized. But very shocked at how stiff my joints are.

Getting outta shape. My right pec and right shoulder on the casted side of the body are getting smaller and weaker then my left.

Switched from Splint to Cast. Probably the most painful moment of my life. Holding my arm up was excruciating. They say ulna fractures do tend to be very painful. The awesome attitude these ladies had helped me stay calm.

1 Week in a Splint. Total immobilized forearm. All movement causes pain in forearm. Arm needs to be kept fully still to feel no pain.
