yesterday, emboldened by my therapy session, I sent an impulsive message to a fairly popular clothing brand that's stocked at urban, asos, bando, etc asking why they no longer make items in xl.

today I got this response: "as a small company we don't have the facilities to offer a wider range of sizes at this time".

I'm not even talking about actual inclusive sizing here. they're stopping at the equivalent of a size TEN. in 2024. but I shouldn't be surprised.

today was also the first day that someone who isn't a doctor, a totally well-meaning person who by all accounts likes me and respects me, "you should lose weight." taking psychic damage on many levels today.
