This turned out way better than I expected. I’m still experimenting with lighting and what not when it comes to coloring my artwork. I know it’s not as good as what I was referencing, but hey, I tried.

I was a little inspired by the “Just Look My Way” video thumbnail, but I also wanted to add Blitzø, Octavia, and Stella in somehow.

I finally finished the recap section of the Stolas video script, totaling at roughly 19 pages. So before I get to the real meat and potatoes of the video, I’m taking time to draw the video’s thumbnail.

Only problem? I’ve never drawn Stolas, Blitzø, Via, or Stella before, so trying to figure out how to translate their designs into my art style is becoming a nightmare! 😭

When the WIP Sketch is ready, I’ll post it asap!

I haven’t even finished watching “Apology Tour” for my Stolas video yet, and the script is already 16 pages long. How do I keep making film-length video scripts? This is more than anything I’ve written for school assignments, and it’s all on my ramblings about a sad gay owl demon prince, and his closest relationships! 🥲

Then again, there are moments where I go off on tangents. Like, I actually talk about what Asmodeus said back in Oops when he thought Stolas was looking for a love potion, specifically the weird criticisms people had about it, so you can expect things like that in the video when it is fully completed.

I need to start posting my own original stuff before I get completely pigeonholed into only posting Hazbin/Helluva Boss, smh. 🥲

Funnily enough, the series I want to create also has something to do with Abrahamic religion themes, angels, demons, and other supernatural phenomena.

And even though what the story is about and tone is completely different from the Hellaverse, it’s because there’s “angels and demons” at the forefront is why for the longest time I didn’t wanna talk about the Hellaverse. My worst fear is people assuming me of stealing from the Hellaverse. Let me have something similar in my own series and people start going, “HAZBIN HOTEL RIPOFF?!”

So if I start posting about my own stuff, please check it out so I am not meaninglessly screaming into the void. 🥲

I’m having a lot of fun rewatching Helluva Boss while writing the script for my Stolas video. Instead of going to sleep last night, I rewatched “Seeing Stars” and “Western Energy”, and very quickly I remembered that I am NOT emotionally ready to revisit the back half of Season 2. 🥲

I get sick and tired of people posting videos saying they hate it or they have the worst characters or whatever because they’re just trying to rant over whatever they could find.

I’m glad there are people like you who stand up for characters like Stolas and Angel and so on. ^^

I just wanted to say thank you. ❤️

Anyways, you’re welcome! I really do love the Hellaverse franchise and I’m excited to see where both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss will go down the road. But as equal as that excitement, I am also annoyed by how loud the hate for this franchise is.

I’m not saying people can’t criticize the shows, or they have to like every aspect of it, from the characters, the setting, the humor, etc. Even I have my own criticisms dotted throughout the Hazbin video I made two months ago.

But I notice that a lot of the criticisms people have are either rooted in bigotry, interpreting scenarios in the worst faith possible, or it could be boiled down to “I don’t like this writing choice = bad writing”. So much so that the angriest I got while recording that video was from me combatting against criticisms I strongly disagreed with.

Hell, some people talk like there isn’t ANYTHING of value from Hazbin or Helluva Boss, and are so venomous about their hate that some people who do like the Hellaverse are afraid to admit that they do. Seriously, how many people you know who have to preface, “Oh I know Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss has problems, but I like it. Please don’t bully me, I promise I’m not one of those cringy fans.”

As for Angel Dust and Stolas, they’re both amongst one of my favorite characters from both series!

So much so that I’m currently working on the script for a Stolas video. I actually have to give @artyphex credit here, since her “In Defense of Angel Dust” video is what both inspired this video idea, as well as making me be unashamed of being a Hellaverse fan.

A Bit of A Reflection

I just turned 28 a few days ago, and I’m just genuinely baffled by the fact that I am getting closer to my 3rd decade of life. Not that 30 is old, but by God’s willing, I hope to discover more of life in the future, especially about myself.

Within the past 2 years, I realized I had severe ADHD, which… re-contextualized a LOT of things in my life, but didn’t make me feel much better when you’re surrounded by people who… don’t always make things easier for you when they don’t understand your struggles.

But that pales in comparison when I came to the discovery that I was asexual, aegosexual to be exact. It took a very sad and disturbing AU comic for me to confirm those feelings that had me brewing in my head for a while, but I’m still happy to know I was. 🥲😆🖤🩶🤍💜

And the most important addition to my life is being a new parent. Things are going well, but I want to continue to thrive being the best person I can be, for myself and the kid I hope to see grow up alongside me.

I hope to see more birthdays down the road, and see where life takes me.

I just finished rewatching all of the Season 1 episodes that had Stolas in/involved in, so I’m gonna dive into Season 2, from The Circus to Sinsmas when the time comes, so I can finish writing the rest of my video script.

God, I can’t wait to dissect The Circus, because I have a LOT to say about a “certain character” when I get there, and how much their apologists piss me the fuck off.

On a side note, because we now have the release date for Part 1 of Season 3 of Helluva Boss, I’ve already got started on the script for the Stolas video I mentioned some time ago. Currently rewatching Loo Loo Land, and very quickly, I remember that this was the episode that made me fall in love with Helluva Boss in the first place.

I’m still working on the HGS opening animatic. Unfortunately, because I didn’t make my interpretations of the adventure outfits for the rest of the characters that will be in the animatic, being Amaryllis, Snapdragon, Slime Boy, Parnell, Caraway, maybe Olive, and Mandrake, along with some monsters, I’ve kinda screeched to a halt in progress until I get that done.

For the longest time, I wasn’t sure how I would do Amaryllis’s adventure outfit, simply because I already like her original one from the series, it’s probably one of my favorites, aside from Rosemary’s and Thyme’s. Especially the color scheme?! Yes Lord! 🖤💜🩷🤍🩶

I guess the one thing I wanted to change was the hat. Yes, I know the hat better helps indicate that Amaryllis is a witch, but in my mind, I always imagined Old Magic Witches being the ones to still wear the traditional witch hat. All the reason why she constantly makes fun of Sage for wearing it.

Details I kept from the original were of course the color scheme, the nail polish, the Terrasphere bracelets, and the boots, but I tried to do a mix between a rogue and a mage, but still having a bit of a regal touch, by adding more gems to the outfit, within with a corset with pink lace. Whether I succeeded in my approach, I’ll let you decide.

Hopefully, I can do the rest of the characters and finally finish this project! Down below in a beta design I made back in 2024, but I wasn’t all that pleased with it, so I had to give it another try. Please enjoy!

After finishing my monster of a Hazbin YouTube video more than a month ago, I believe these are the characters where what you have to say about them, legit determines whether I fw you in this fandom or not.

Anyways, I was roleplaying on a Hazbin Hotel Discord, and there is a Pride Month pool party event going on, and all the characters got to wear swimsuits based on their sexuality, so I decided to design an outfit for Al for the occasion. I saw one of those old 1920s swimsuits, and tossed the Ace flag colors on it. It’s nothing special, but I guess there’s beauty in simplicity.

I had the original sketch of this drawing sitting in my drafts since December, and I got tired of looking at it unfinished, so here we go!

I remember talking to some people on Discord, and they did note that my original character, Oliver, kinda looks like Adam, since they both have brown hair, golden eyes, golden wings, and they use light as their primary power. And I just ... 😦 because the idea of Oliver being some illegitimate child of Adam is both funny and sad, solely because I know they would HATE each other! 🤣

I made two versions, one in Oliver’s original outfit, and the alternate outfit I made when I designed him in the Hellaverse art style.
