Not saying that people couldn't be annoyed with the spam, but Goose knows reddit. Her fandom was already not great with trans people, and reddit in general is always looking for a reason to tear transfems apart. The subreddit had moderators who were handeling the situation, there was no reason for Goose to tell a fan she was "ruining the fun for everybody" in front of the entire fandom.

Idk if someone said this before me but.. I really wish this poll had more nuance to it :/ Like. I don't really know what option to pick. When I first learned to drive I had anxiety so severe I was shaky and struggled to get through my tests. Now that I'm on medication to manage my anxiety better driving has become way less stressful and way more of an auto-pilot kind of thing. It's nice to be able to have the long drives alone to listen to music in my car, with space away from other stresses in my life.. But at the same time, it is scary. It is scary seeing how many near-accidents I've had from assholes swerving, speeding up near me, ignoring stop signs, etc. That part definitely is still stressful, I just manage that anxiety a lot better than I used to, but that part of driving is still scary. Knowing that at any moment, I have to watch out, because something could go wrong, some idiot could do something dangerous and I have to have fast enough reaction time to get out of that situation safely. That's why I hesitate to say I enjoy driving..

The only queerness you can handle is heteronormative queerness of top and bottom same sex couples, strict binary trans people and Non-binary folks as a third gender. Don't even get me started how you can't handle anything above monogender, monosexual or monogamous. You can't handle arospec and acespec and any mixture of the two, especially aroallos. You can't handle intersex people just existing to be honest. Anything that challenges your shallow worldview of how things work is 'made up' or 'trying to win the oppression Olympics'.

Before I saw the replies saying this was a "reference," (not much of one, this show kind of overuses 'references' and thinks that automatically makes it deep.) Genuinely this just reads to me as an unintentional representation of what happened to the show. It was supposed to be about Pomni. Pomni was supposed to be in the center. And slowly, her and the show got consumed by Jax's bullshit. So, this official art is fitting in that way, I suppose.

LAM - the artist of Miku V6 - is a creep.

Okay. I had some issues with Miku's V6 design, some suspicions on the way details were drawn, that it was likely drawn by a man who objectifies women. I was right. Let's rip the bandaid off with the worst:

So, uh, what is this character's canon age, that he decided to change her canon body type and the team skull uniform to show cleavage for?

Yeah that's just straight up sexualizing an 11 year old character. Even the original team skull uniform, even with the mask covering her chest pushed aside, does not show cleavage. This is not the only time this artist has made.. questionable design choices when drawing women.

I'm not cherrypicking by the way. This is the majority of the art on his social medias. For comparison, here's how he draws men:

Men get dynamic lighting, intense shading, dynamic poses, lots of detail with no sign of sexualization, and the women standing next to them.. get minimal shading and intense makeup. Definitely not suspicious at all. (seriously why does the guy on the left have so much more detail in his jacket and belt's shading than the shading on the clothes of the woman in the center?)

So yeah I'm pretty confident in saying he was showing even more of this creep behavior when drawing Miku V6's ref sheet like this.

Wasn't really my thing personally, but parts of it are a damn good reminder there can be horror in this concept, Gooseworx just.. moved further and further away from it. The smoother the animation became, the more 'realistic' the models were rendered, the less and less they use pixelation and glitches.. It's like they forgot the setting of the show. Everything about the setting that made it interesting? Not really shown or explored past the pilot.. It sucks, because I liked that idea. I liked the low-rendered low-poly pixellated look parts of the pilot had. The way these glitches seemed to tie into abstraction, implying it had something to do with people/files being "corrupted," the way Ragatha and Pomni got sort of 'infected' by those glitches, it was an interesting way to show these threats through tech. It's the same reason people liked Amanda the Adventurer when it came out, that kind of "old tech" style can definitely be utilized for horror. It really is a shame both series took a fucking nosedive in that aspect..

Pomni's line "we need to abandon the idea of leaving" would've been stronger if she actually spent more time trying to find the exit and had that as a part of her character. She abandoned the idea of leaving right after the pilot and was fully adjusted to the circus by episode 4, so that line felt more underwhelming than I think it was supposed to be.

The only 2 examples I can think of are when Gangle was having a manic episode in episode 4 and when Ragatha opened up about her past, if there are any more examples or if these are the only ones LMK, but still I think this is worth calling out

Not as severe, but you could arguably also count the way Zooble was immediately shut down for being upset at Jax in Episode 8.

Which... hm. I wonder why the two non-Jax-dick-sucking women are the nonbinary person are the three that get called out within the show for being mildly unpleasant*. Hmmmm

*Tbf Gangle sucked ass in Episode 4 but she apologized for it. Something that Jax distinctly never does. So she still counts
