But maybe their kind go for that.
I think Sydney and Adrian should start adopting a bunch more kids who would be mistreated by their societies. I think they'd be great at it and they just wouldn't be able to help themselves. Moroi society is not that much less messed up than the alchemists to be honest.
They'd teach them art and mechanics, do fun science and magic experiments, love them and protect them at all costs.
The kids would have a bunch of guardians and witches for aunts and uncles and anybody who even thought about hurting them would immediately be tackled and hexed.
im extremely nosy but i dont have loose lips and thats the best combination tbh im not here to spread rumors or hurt anyone im only in it for the knowledge of everyone’s business i wont tell anybody but i NEED to possess ALL of the secrets
me hearing all the different sides of the story because everyone involved has told me directly what their take on the situation is but not saying anything and just watching it unfold like a intensely dramatically ironic shakespearean play with an audience of one (1) which is ME
hey just a heads up/warning for those of you who don’t do well dealing with the heavy subjects or videos portraying violent acts, sandyhook promise has a new gun violence school shooting PSA that is probably going to be going viral and is slated to play on television and in AMC movie theaters and it’s pretty heavy, especially at the end. I know it’s a topic that needs to be discussed but it’s not a video that everyone will be able to watch, so just a warning for those of you that might not be able to handle it.
For when you’re stuck watching like in a theater- When it begins to play, you will see kids talking about their binder or their other school supplies. When you see the boy with the skateboard, stop watching and plug your ears.
I think you should stop watching when you see this person saying “these colorful binders help me stay organized” because pretty much right after that there’s some panic inducing stuff. The entire ad is 67 seconds long.
It’s legit terrifying to watch. It hits you out of nowhere and I know that this is important for people to understand but I have anxiety and this just makes my fear of school shooters worse
It’s called “Back-To-School Essentials” on Youtube. Dark themes to watch out for plus timestamps:
Lock Down Drill (background) - 0:06
Panic - 0:12
Screaming - 0:17
Gunshots - 0:31
Blood - 0:33
0:39 - 0:55 - a girl texts her mom “i love you” in a bathroom stall as she’s stalked by an intruder
Boosting this because I saw it came up on insta and without knowing what it was i played it and ended up having a break down over its ending. It’s an extremely important topic but also…. extremely hard to watch……..
It’s going around Tumblr now too, just so you’re all prepared
I watched it when it first started going around and it made me incredibly anxious. Heads up to anybody who needs a heads up.
The first time I watched it I legit felt a panic attack start. If I wasnt on the call with someone to help me before it got into a full blown thing, it would of been much worse for me- please dont watch this unless you can stomach it
DO NOT SCROLL!!
Please reblog this, it is very serious!
so I got into grad school today with my shitty 2.8 gpa and the moral of the story is reblog those good luck posts for the love of god

likes charge reblogs cast, folks, this is the good luck post
sydney sage and adrian ivashkov had one of the most beautifully developed storylines i have ever read . not only with their relationship but as individual characters themselves . there’s something so special and pure about them and they will always have a place in my heart.
Is it just me or does Klaus remind anyone else of Adrian Ivashkov
I would like to thank Richelle Mead for her wonderful and beautiful part in the Firey Heart about mental health and taking medication. I almost broke down from how relatable the whole scene was when Adrian refused and refused to get help because he was afraid “of not being himself any more.” It’s not shameful. “We’re chemicals” and we’re just as different as each chemical within us. I loved this part. I truly love Adrian.
Soooo this is sydrian
Adrian found B99 while channel surfing one day. "My God, Sage. That's us. They put us on TV."
Sydney opened her mouth to disagree, promptly closing it when Amy mentioned her file folders.
Edit#76
"He shouldn't have said that," repeated Adrian, eerily serious. He leaned his head towards mine. "I don't care if he's not the emotional type or the complimentary type or what. No one can look at you in this dress, in all that fire and gold, and start talking about ananchronisms. If I were him, I would have said, 'You are the most beautiful creature I have seen walking on this earth.' "

the funniest glitch gif ive ever seen is that one of the onion knight standing on that rock waving then becoming the rock
Just like Slughorn, Albus Dumbledore collects people. Only, instead of focusing on those with influence, he looks to the outcasts.
The expelled half-giant. The young werewolf. The repentant Death Eater.
He protects them and gives them a second chance. All he asks in return is their loyalty.
And, if on occasion he requests that they undertake a certain task, invoking their debt of gratitude - well, that is no more than he is owed.
He once thought to add a certain disowned Black to his collection, but quickly realised his mistake.
Sirius is not an outcast, but a rebel. He knowingly chose his path, and chooses what price he is willing to pay for it. He refuses to be used.
So Albus Dumbledore abandons him.
Who gave you the RIGHT?
Dumbledore knows Sirius’s loyalty lies with Harry instead of him, and he has no use for someone who is not willing to follow his orders without question.
Ooooohoo if there’s ever a post that fits my aesthetic…
okay but then where does Harry himself fit into this collection? Is he an outcast because he is “the Boy Who Lived”?
Nooonono, my friend, that’s what makes this post so beautiful. Because it fits the meta I’ve been trying to get people to accept for years.
Harry was an outcast due to a childhood filled with abuse and neglect.
Vernon made him an outcast by dismissing his claims of magic, berating him, locking him in a CLOSET and putting bars on his window, and let’s face it, even though her editor made her cut it out, Jo intended for there to be physical abuse.
Petunia made him an outcast by enabling and contributing to this abuse, as well as making Harry do dozens of chores while doting on Dudley.
Dudley made him an outcast by bullying him and threatening any students at school who wanted to be his friends.
And the rest of the wizarding world made him an outcast when they bullied him for being an outsider.
Harry James Potter became an outcast the moment he was placed with The Dursleys.
And who put him there in the first place?
I’m here for this Anti-Dumbledore discussion.
This makes even more sense when you consider why Dumbledore deliberately made Harry an outcast.
Think about it What would Harry have been like if he had grown up in the wizarding world? Or, to put it another way, what would Harry have been like if he had grown up in a world where magic was the norm?
He would have taken magic for granted. He would have been less likely (especially as he got older) to view Dumbledore as a wise mentor and more likely to see him as flawed and capable of bad decisions. He would have seen both the world and Dumbledore as ordinary, with their good points and bad points.
But Dumbledore didn’t need a well-adjusted boy who took magic and the magical world for granted. He needed a child who would love the magical world unstintingly, even irrationally, because it was a haven from neglect and abuse. Even more, he needed a child who feared this world becoming evil and who therefore would not question someone that he saw as the ultimate authority, especially if he believed that obeying that authority would keep the world safe.
Even if obedience meant his own death.
Dumbledore wanted a martyr who would die for the wizarding world, because he believed that Voldemort could not die until Harry did. Which was why he left Harry with the Dursleys and let them neglect and emotionally abuse him for the next ten years.
To get a martyr, he first had to create a victim.
well… well, shit
Oh shit. Its been updated.
…I’ve been in the “Dumbledore was on the darker side of morally grey” camp for years but this…this. Holy shit. Oh no.
THIS is why Grindelwald believed that they can rule the world together.
Furthering that, ya Harry was the boy who lived, but how often did every single person in the school turn against him for something he didn’t do, including his best friend? He was always an outcast, his childhood of course influenced this because I definitely think he had a hard time interacting with people normally for a long time, and he didn’t know a lot about the way the Wizarding World worked, but celebrities are always outcasts when put smack dab in the middle of regualar society. People might be nice to them, but they don’t know them, they think they know them because the gossip rags and magazines publish every aspect of their lives, but it’s out of context, and sometimes not even true, and it’s ridiculous to think that Harry was ever wholly part of the world. Some people in griffyndor, Luna, Cedric, maybe even cho, were some of the only people who didn’t view him as the boy who lived, the child that was supposed to be their saviour, but just as Harry, and 11,12,13,14,15 year old boy who was just as flummoxed and even more broken then they were.
I think that a major part of this is that Dumbledore left this whole mystery around him, you talked about the impact growing up without magic had on Harry, but what about the Wizarding World as a whole? Some people thought he was a child’s bedtime story, he’d been missing for 10 years no one had any idea where he was or if he was even alive, if. He ever even existed. Now imagine if he’d grown up normally, gone to Wizarding elementary school, or had a tutor, made friends with the other pure and halfblooded children. He would have been just Harry, even if he had this amazing past everyone would have seen how normal a child he was, no one would have had the chance to hype home up to be this all powerful boy hero.
Anyways I love this because it fits perfectly, Ive never had the illusion that Harry was ever anything but and outcast.
