“There is no higher achievement in this life than Allah being pleased with you”
— Sheikh Enis Rama.
Sheikh Ibn al-'Uthaymeen Rahimahullah;
"Righteous actions, including fasting, in the (first) ten days of Dhū al-Ḥijjah are more beloved to Allāh than righteous actions in the last ten days of Ramadan.
Yet the people are heedless of the ten days of Dhū al-Hijjah. They pass and the people are upon their normals ways. You find no increase in reading the Qur'ān or other types of worship, rather some of them are even stingy with the takbīr."
📚 [الشرح الممتع ٦/٤٧]
- Advice Regarding Welcoming the First Ten Days of Dhul-Ḥijjah
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:
The first ten days of Dhul-Ḥijjah begin with the start of the month of Dhul-Ḥijjah and end on the Day of Sacrifice (ʿEid al-Naḥr). Regarding deeds performed in these days, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
They said: “Not even jihād in the path of Allah?”
He ﷺ said:
“Not even jihād in the path of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth and returns with nothing from that.”
Based on this, I urge my Muslim brothers to seize this tremendous opportunity and to increase during the first ten days of Dhul-Ḥijjah in righteous deeds, such as recitation of the Qur’an, remembrance of Allah in all its forms: saying Allāhu Akbar (takbīr), Lā ilāha illallāh (tahlīl), Al-ḥamdulillāh (taḥmīd), Subḥānallāh (tasbīḥ), as well as charity, fasting, and all righteous deeds.
It is astonishing that people are heedless regarding these ten days. You find them striving hard in worship during the last ten nights of Ramaḍān, but during the first ten days of Dhul-Ḥijjah you hardly find anyone distinguishing them from other days.
However, if a person performs righteous deeds during these ten days, reviving what the Prophet ﷺ directed toward of righteous actions, then he is upon tremendous goodness.
When these ten days begin, if a person intends to offer a sacrifice, then he should not take anything from his hair, his nails, or his skin. He should not remove anything from any of these if he intends to offer a sacrifice.
As for the one on whose behalf the sacrifice is being offered, then there is no problem regarding him.
Therefore, if a person wishes to offer one sacrifice on behalf of himself and his household—as is the Sunnah—then the members of the household are not required to refrain from cutting their hair, nails, or skin, because the Prophet ﷺ said:
“When one of you intends to offer a sacrifice, then let him not take anything from his hair, skin, or nails.”
So the address is directed to the one who intends to offer the sacrifice.
But if someone were to say: If the person intending to offer the sacrifice travels for ḥajj, he will perform ʿumrah and shorten his hair, even though he instructed his family to offer the sacrifice on his behalf?
We say: This does not harm, because shortening the hair in ʿumrah is a rite that must be performed. Likewise, shortening or shaving the hair in ḥajj is permissible and there is no issue with it.

i think the most beautiful thing about being a human is the capacity to change
Do not let the pace of your life make you assume that Allah is not responding. There are moments when everything feels paused, when efforts feel unnoticed, and when dua feels like it is rising and returning without change. But what you see is never the full picture. Allah is not only guiding outcomes; He is shaping you through what feels unfinished. Some doors are not delayed because you are unworthy of them, but because what is waiting for you requires a version of you that is still being formed through patience, discipline, and quiet endurance. Even the things that feel like setbacks may be redirecting you away from harm you could not recognize in the moment. So trust the process you cannot yet see, and keep walking with certainty that Allah’s timing is never late, only perfectly placed. 🤍

Keeping an alive tumblr in 2026 is proof of one's sincerity and authenticity - a type of person who enjoys posting for the sake of it with absolutely nothing to be gained....just the enjoyment of curation and self expression untainted by opportunity and relevance
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah is not satisfied for His believing servant to be rewarded with anything but Paradise if his loved ones on earth pass away, he remains patient, hopes for reward, and says what he has been commanded.”
Sunan al-Nasā’ī 1871
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said,
"This world is but a fleeting dream, or a passing shadow. If it makes one laugh for a little while, it makes one weep for much longer. If it brings joy for a day, it brings sorrow for a lifetime.
If it grants pleasure for a short time, it withholds it for a long time."
[Zaad al-Ma'ad, 4/174]

Women are the trusts of honorable men.
None but an honorable man will honor them,
and none but a dishonorable man will humiliate them.

Don’t let your empathy be greater than your self respect.
I am not the best of Your servants. I am not even close. But I am here, on my knees, asking You. Not because I deserve it, but because You are Al-Rahman, and mercy is all I need right now.
