finally I got the skirt for this dress right. I've had the pieces cut out for almost a year now but with my lack in se wing skills ice been too scared to put it together.

soon enough I'll add the details and then I have a finished doll

I used a draculaura forbidden love dress pattern that I then adjusted to work for the look I was going for and to fit the smaller size monster high bodies. took me a few tries to get it right but it worked out in the end

Sorry if you've answered this before--what sealant do you use ?

I used to use testors dullcoat but after I moved to a flat and can't spray outdoors I started using liquitex Matt mixed with a bit of water in an airbrush

I did it!!! an apron and a dress to go with one of the dolls I'm working on. hopefully I can find a pair of shoes to go with it, if not I guess I'll have to tackle that challenge as well

Hello! Can I ask how you decide your prices for the dolls? I'm having a hard time finding appropriate pricing options for custom dolls online.

first of all it would depend on how much you want customised. so rerooting, faceup, body blushing, clothes, shoes. as different things might take more of less time and I quote based on estimated work time.

After that is material cost and shipping

I got a new cast today and was told I'll have to wear it for a month. so I decided to jazz it up with paint and some rhinestones

started working on a custom doll stand for a fairy. I'm considering keeping it as another giveaway prize but I'm not sure yet

this girl is finally getting a reroot. I'm a bit slow with them but I like the result more than a wig

I finally managed to make a flower petal dress. I'm still gonna add a few more rhinestones, but I'm pretty happy with this

can someone give me magic sewing abilities? I keep trying to make clothes for my dolls but it never looks right

does anyone have any advice?

masking tape patterns! its hard to give instructions without visuals but you essentially wrap the body in masking tape and draw center lines down the sides, cut it apart and dart til you can lay it flat. now you have a guide for how big your dolls clothes need to be. just make sure to add a little seam allowance to your fabric
