tyler: okay i'll hold off. you wanna try and make this work?
sparrow: i thought that's what we agreed on.
Text|| My Girl
Tyler: do you want me to hold off?
sparrow: you can do whatever you want... but i'm not signing anything yet.

Tyler: so the rest of the papers came in
sparrow: oh.
"i can't wear this," she said, tilting her head to the side as she looked at her reflection, turning to the side as she smoothed the dress out. "it swallows me. and it's not tight enough, doesn't accentuate my curves. being short and tiny's a hassle, nothing ever fits me." @chambcrlains
"this shit's stupid," she said, letting her pen drop to her notebook. "'during medical exams, where does the rectal thermometer go?' like, are these serious questions? if they don't know where the rectal thermometer's place is, they shouldn't be in med school." @kamtansel
sparrow shivered, pulling her arms into her jacket like a small child as they walked across the lawn of the campus. she regretted every step and wanted to go back in time and shake herself from thinking it was a good idea to go to the cafeteria, knowing she had to have gone outside to get there. "why did we agree to this? why didn't we just order something? now we have to come back out here to get back," she whined. @rainainsworth
tylerjameswilliams:
“No one is going to do anything because I’ll beat their asses if they try anything on you. Together or not I don’t want anyone touching you ever.” Tyler wrapped his arms around her tighter after pulling the blankets up to their bodies. “Then you’ll have to come to every party we have because we all drink. Well unless I’m sick then I go to a party for a little then go right to bed, but I mostly drink,” he chuckled. “This is what we need,” he mumbled on the top of her head.
“i’ll beat them first, you can finish them,” she said. “why would you go to a party if you’re sick? that’s dumb, just stay in bed. i could go for getting drunk though. it’s been a hot minute since i’ve had a real drink.” sparrow nodded, cuddling into him a little closer. “why is it so hard for us to get along?”
tylerjameswilliams:
“They aren’t going to do anything to you. We will figure it out though. I promise we will figure it out,” he mumbled as his thumb continued to stroke her knee. “I’m just saying though. I would not put that past her. She seems like the kinky person who would do something like that. The drinking though will get to me though.” Travis laid down and pulled the girl down with him with s small smile on his face. “Let’s just have this moment now.”
“promise on god?” she asked. “oh, i wouldn’t put it past her either. just not with you. i really don’t think she’d interfere with a marriage like that, whether she thought it was going to last or not. i think even she would draw the line. but you’re not drinking with any girls on your own unless it’s with me or i’m there,” she said, laying her head on his chest. “...this is nice. not fighting. not having sex and ignoring everything. just... talking and and snuggles. especially the snuggles. i’m fucking freezing.”
tylerjameswilliams:
“You can live there. Well kind of. No one will bother you or judge you and everyone knows we are married so it’s not like it’s going to be a shocker,” he chuckled. “No she scares me. She said something about a party in her room and then a threesome and as intrigued I was by that I was still scared. Really scared.”
“what’s-his-face judges me and the pervert guy is too touchy feely. shit will go down. someone will lose their balls,” she said. “she wasn’t serious, she was just riling you up because you let her. she wouldn’t actually do that. well... i dunno, she’d probably have a threesome, but i don’t think she’d actually try to seduce a married man. not if she knew he was married. i would hope not anyways.”
tylerjameswilliams:
“i know and i get that, but we can’t go without fighting and i want to make sure we are good before we go back and get a place together again. if we keep fighting then who knows what it will be like in the house again,” he mumbled as he ran his thumb up and down her knee. “yeah, minka scares me and i try and avoid her as much as i can,” he chuckled. “you can stay at the fraternity.”
“how are we supposed to know if we don’t try?” she asked. “i can’t live at a frat house, i have a vagina. frats are for penises and boys that think with them. and besides, what’s-his-face doesn’t like me and there’s that other one that’s constantly trying some shit and touching my ass,” she said. “she’s really not scary. she just doesn’t take anyone’s bullshit and speaks her mind.”
tylerjameswilliams:
“then don’t let her be right. like i said we can try and fix shit, but it’s gonna take two. we can’t just let one do the work, but we are going to have to stay here until we either figure out if we can move out of our houses or we wait to stop arguing all the time,” he said to her and let his hand rest on her knee. “we have to figure shit out.”
“they can’t just tell us we can’t leave. there’s no law about universities stating that we have to live on campus. i doubt we can be in the sorority and fraternity living off campus, but... we’re more important to me than this sorority is. if i have to leave the sorority so we can live together and actually try making an effort, i’ll so it in a heart beat. these girls are important to me, but... not as important as you,” she said. “except maybe alexandria. and like, as much as i can’t stand minka sometimes, her brutal honesty and dry humor kinda gets me through some shit.”
tylerjameswilliams:
tyler was there laying down with his phone in his hand and the tv on for the noise. he wasn’t really sure what all they needed to do to make things work, but being and college made it hard to do so. they were always apart from one another and temptations where everywhere. with him being so deep in thought he didn’t hear her come in until he felt a little weight on the bed. the quietness of her voice was all he needed to hear to know that they needed to stop. “i wasn’t trying to turn that into a fight. we need to stop fighting if we really wanna make this work and not have this divorce go through.”
“i hate fighting. i can’t help it when i’m mad, though...” she said, pulling her knees up to her chest and resting her chin on her knees. “i don’t want to be a stereotype. i don’t want everyone that told us we weren’t going to make it be right. i damn sure don’t want minka to be right about young marriages not working...”
tylerjameswilliams:
“We should have charged them for a show then,” he chuckled and leaned his head on the door. “I’ll lay down and watch Netflix till you come back, but we just had a nice conversation where we didn’t kill one another and I would love for it not to end,” he mumbled and walked into her room and shut the door.
sparrow pursed her lips, chuckling to herself. but then he mentioned that they talked without fighting --- until they started fighting --- and she sighed, getting into the shower. she stayed in there long enough to get showered, wash her hair, and think a little. once she was out and dried off and got her hair dry enough that it wasn’t dripping wet, she put her shirt back on and went back to her room. she closed the door and grabbed a pair of underwear from her drawer and slid them on before sitting on her bed to face him as she played with the hem of her shirt. “...i’m sick of fighting,” she said quietly.
tylerjameswilliams:
“Well you take your shower and yell. I’m gonna go back in your room and watch Netflix. I don’t need the girls seeing me with no pants on walking around,” he mumbled. His forehead still leaning against the door. He didn’t want to fight anymore and just wanted shit to be normal now. He just wanted his wife back, but st this point he didn’t know what could happen.
“then put your fucking pants on, minka will probably take you quicker than you can get away,” she said. “it’s not like they don’t know what just happened, they have ears, they know we just fucked.”
alexandriabosss:
Alexandria started, “That’s okay” she said before her friend started to explain. Ally laughed lightly at her statement, “Okay, you’re definitely not going to go live with Jareth” she started as a laugh, “Even though we live a few rooms down you can come stay with me, my place is big” she said signalling to her room, which wasn’t really a lie. For some reason Alexandria had one of the biggest rooms in the house, guessing because she paid the most money.
“i like my room,” she said. “and it’s not like moving in with my best friend would make my troubles go away. it doesn’t stop the thoughts, or the crying, or the migraines. doesn’t stop my marriage from falling apart...” she said, looking down as she played with the hem of her shirt. “we’re getting a divorce,” her voice cracked.
