i would describe my mc as taciturn and uppity and somewhat surly and spoiledāshe is the unnamed, so she grew up in an environment where she was taught that she was meant to be seen and not heard. the community really hammered home that the most important thing about her is her ability to āblessā others with her curse and not her thoughts or opinions or inner world or even her personality so she took to self-censoring and restricting herself a lot to avoid rocking the boat, so to speak, and performing her duties as commanded of her
i feel like growing up in an environment like that made her feel powerless, so she began to seek power through emotionally manipulative waysāshe has been perfecting the art of telling people what they want hear so she can subtly bend them to her will and that trait gets worse when she arrives in eridia, where she realizes she is outclassed by people who are better manipulators than her and also literal monsters
she is resilient and wholly invested in her survival and competitive in the sense she doesnāt want be bested at her own game, so she is quick to assimilating to the culture of the city. she feels like she has to do it in order to survive and not be eaten alive but also she hates not having the upper hand, and deep down, she likes exploiting peopleās vulnerabilities and using them like toys to avoid having it done to her(very dog eat dog of her)
where she differs from the in game mc is that sheās not looking for a cure per se but is looking to better understand her curse so she can better use it to her advantageāhence why she is close to leander and kuras initially because they have the most knowledge regarding magic, the senobium, and alchemy(and if she was born privileged in eridia, i could see her being a senobium cleric tooābut like a smart and ambitious one lol)
her thoughts on the love interests:

she works as his apprentice in his clinic, at first to gain more knowledge about her curse, before discovering she likes learning about healing aliments, poultices, and tinctures. she admires kurasās calm yet authoritative nature and how nostalgic he is to her, though she dislikes how he speaks to her like a child sometimes. and against her better judgment, she becomes fond of the patients that frequent the clinic(though that doesnāt stop her from using her kindness to mine secrets from them)
leanderā
after a couple of weeks of staying at the wet wick and falling for leanderās charms, she realizes heās a better manipulator than her and wants to learn that all she can from him. she likes how people look to him for leadership and actually care about what he has to say. even though she finds it hard to discover where the performer ends and the real leander begins, i would say they have a transactional relationship that becomes sexual over time because he eases her loneliness that she likes to pretend she doesnāt have(donāt worry she eventually cheats on him and leaves him for ais <3) but she slowly begins to resent him because one, he makes her think theyāre on equal footing when he is using her like a pawn like everyone else and two, she can touch him with her bare hands yet he isnāt the one she really wants(the one she wants is ais)

another hard one for her to crack but she is definitely fascinated by him. though his mind games and unpredictability can get tiring, she likes seeing eridia through his eyes and how knowledgeable he is about the city and learning about his former past as a revered god. and of course shit talking with him about people that gets on her nerves is really fun. and even though he keeps telling her he doesnāt want leanderās leftovers, they have made out a couple of times and iām not saying he pimped her out to ais, but yeah he pimped her out to ais. one day she would love to see his art journal even though he might maul her afterwards(and hopes there are some portraits of her in it)
mhinā
recognizes that theyāre both committed to surviving no matter what but goes about it in different ways. she admires their discipline and tenacity but they often butt heads over their hatred of monsters and soulless, considering that she fits in both categories even if they staunchly disagree. often accompanies them while theyāre fishing with the stray cats and likes talking to them about medicine and alchemy. she wants to get closer to them even if they keep her at arms length and deeply disapproves of her close relationship with ais and how sheās moving about in the city

a very love/hate dynamic(mainly on her side) because he makes her lose control and say whatās really on her mind through fear and his openly blunt nature but at the same time admires his unfiltered honesty and finds what he doesnāt say just as compelling as what he does. she thinks about him and his violence a lot and how he speaks to her own emotional turbulent emotions she keeps hidden. a lot of arguing-as-flirting and play fighting with these two that of course escalates sexually. he also soothes her loneliness and fear of being of hurt and she often seeks comfort from him a lot of the time. she enjoys patching up his wounds and likes watching him fight!!! and she likes crying around him because he gets really weird about it :)
theyāre like a physically and emotionally sadomasochistic situationship that has a āmore than friends, less than loversā dynamic in my mind and quite early on she is an accomplice/sidekick to whatever business he has with elyon and wouldnāt mind being led by him and being with him because she respects and trusts himābut since she IS manipulative, i can see her using his destructive emotions against him as an means to an end, which will go as well as you expect when ais finally catches on

i think she would have soulless ancestry!!!! i donāt know how that would work honestly but itās adds to her sometimes off putting/animalistic nature she likes to keep hidden

Highkey Ais is easy asf and so is Mihn but I'm not gonna slander them right now. Also spoilers mentioned.
Kinda sad about Ais because he craves that connection so bad but he keeps giving it to folks who just wanna fuck and maybe be friends lol
The obvious reference is with Vere but we all know that. Actually nevermind, imagine being Ais and being attached to Vere and lowk wanting more and Vere is like "nah" because that's not what he signed up for (cool, cool) but then Vere turns right around and takes the MC on not one, not two, but three dates in one day after knowing them for about 48 hours.
And then the way I see it with the implications in the first demo, Ais and Leander slept together and Leander is such a manipulative sweet talker and Ais, despite his wisdom, did not have any pleasant experiences with humans combined with his terrible loneliness he's experienced and whatever he went through with his gang. So, it does make sense for him to buy into Lenders "look at me I'm not like the others" song and dance he does with anyone who is at a weak moment in their life.
Just something I thought of. I do think Ais is a hopeless, lonely, romantic wanting to place that somewhere.
