The poppy has always symbolized rest, peace, and death. It is a flower tied to sleep and remembrance. And iron golems are meant to drop poppies when they die. A symbol of peace. A final gift. That is the rule.
This one never reaches that state. No, It can't give that gift. Instead, the world gives it to the golem.
Its body remains red, taking no damage. Hovewer, it has been in damaged state, permanently. The red tint on its body almost mirrors the poppyโs pigment.
Standing in a sea of poppies, red against red. It remains active long after its purpose should have ended. It attacks with the same calm force it always had, but now there is no end state. No death that drops iron and a flower.

The Veiled Iron Golem is a wandering Iron Golem known for its unique appearance and behavior. Unlike normal Iron Golems, the Veiled Iron Golem does not stay in a single village. It travels between villages and only appears when a village is in danger. Its arrival is not guaranteed. If another village closer to its location is under threat, or if the village already has an Iron Golem, the Veiled Iron Golem may or may not appear.
Despite constantly encountering hostile mobs, the Veiled Iron Golem has never fully fallen. Villages it protects often repay it by having their blacksmiths repair and reinforce its body before it continues its journey.
Its connection to multiple villages also led to cooperation between villages (because some villagers follow its journey sometimes), forming larger settlements and encouraging the creation of more Iron Golems.
The Veiled Iron Golem is known by different names depending on the biome of the village it protects:
Plains: Ronce, Bour, Zin
Savanna: Jex, Herone
Taiga: Rox
Desert: Rune
Snowy Plains: Roh
Meadow: Tera, Grace
Snowy Taiga: Wysie
Sunflower Plains: Eafre
