despite many people claiming that team instinct and spark himself are the weaker team, spark begs to differ. not only does he view himself as equals with candela and blanche ( whether they see him in the same light is up for debate but i like to think they see him the same way ) but he finds the whole feud over which team is the strongest team as something that’s sort of lame. spark knows that it’s ridiculous to compare one to another, he doesn’t believe in putting one party above another. he simply treats others how he wishes to be treated himself. he doesn’t care that team instinct doesn’t have so many gyms under their belts. to spark, his team is the best team when they go out and simply have fun with their pokemon. to spark, his team is the best team despite the lack of strength, lack of gyms. and while he might not be as strong as candela or as intelligent as blanche, spark sees them as equals and he’s proud to call them his friends. there’s no competition to him; spark just wants to have fun with his partners and his teammates.
