Ngl, depending on how the future Sanders sides episodes go, I might end up shipping Logan and orange. There are only a few reasons that might impede it if it's true, and I'm going to call it oragan.

I have this headcanon where Virgil and Janus hate each other with little debate, but if someone tried to hurt either of them, one of the other sides, or Thomas, then those two would at least put aside their differences until whatever was happening was finished.

As an extension, Remus joins whatever side seems like the most fun or will cause the most chaos

Man, I love Sanders sides family au in the toxic kinda way where the dark sides and light sides are different families. And the dark sides are toxic because their roles go against each other where Janus and Remus fake Virgil's anxiety to an unhealthy degree, Virgil and Janus both try to stop Remus from pulling a Remus, Virgil and Remus don't think lying is helping for their own very different reasons, and all three are against øṛæɲɣə because..........

While the light sides are functioning in a somewhat "healthy" way. ( basically the same as cannon ) But that all changed when a dark side appeared, and they have multiple videos to go through but you just know they'll achieve a healthy relationship at some point.

Thinking back on sanders sides is realizing that the main problem in the series is that everyone has communication issues.

Honestly, I can't help but feel bad for Kinger, cain and the circus were probably one of the last things he has left from his past, one of the last things he Scratch and his wife worked on, where he's spent up until now, the last thing he has left of his friend and wife that isn't the abstract concept of darkness.

Sometimes I think about how Virgil is a contagonist then I remember that no one knows what a contagonist is.

I kinda love how Sanders ' side is just us watching the equivalent of someone having self-therapy.

Virgil tacking on "in almost any case we'd inbrace you, no one hates you" the no one hates you in his verse in response to Roman's is kinda a power move, but it also makes me wonder if Virgil kinda knows everyone's insecurities because that got a visible reaction from Roman.

Roman's reaction wasn't small, either; it got its own frame on Roman, it's definitely something we're supposed to see and react to, but it's never brought up again especially for a moment that up to that point they kinda weren't on great terms and were working through it.

That moment was really the nail in the coffin when they really started being friends with each other, because it showed Roman that there weren't any hard feelings over his past actions towards Virgil, and that despite the words and actions he may have said or taken that Virgil doesn't hate him for it even if he blames himself now or not. And after that point, you see a subtle shift in their dynamic.

Welcome to ask the scrapped sides!

The base lore:

Basically the idea is that part of the imagination is inhabited by sides that were conceptualized but never truly formed, since the sides are imaginary and well we all got OCs we never used. That combined with the twins being the embodiment of creativity they'd feel bad having Thomas come up with more sides that aren't needed and so just kinda stuff them into a part of the imagination.

They are specifically located as far away from any entrance to the imagination as possible, located inbetween Romans and Remuses territory. They are ofcourse free to roam as they wish. Some also have had experiences with the actual sides, from before they all had their own area to exist in.

Quick rules:

unless directly discussed with the owner of a character do not kill others sides

giving your side animal traits is okay and very welcome

overlap in scrap sides it fine, direct copies are not

Something I've always loved about Nightmare Before Christmas is that Sally's song and Jack's lament are both laments despite the names.

They both go together both music wise and message wise.

Aswell as Sally's song and the final song were made with each other in mind creating a beautiful message.

I really like how the dark sides and the light sides have basically the opposite design elements of each other.

For instance

The light sides have very open designs, i.e., they usually stick with simpler design elements and fewer clothing items with higher color saturations while for the most part giving a clean almost organized look however it is broken up with little character elements that show their original outfits even though they aren't used anymore.

While the dark sides have a more closed off designs. Their designs tend to be more complicated and even exaggerated with darker color situations giving a messy tone to the outfits that convey their personality perfectly with boxyer silhouette. however have very little overt unity to their designs beyond the bases being black and boxy silhouettes.

The logos also fallow this and even mirror/go with other sides logos. With the more overt being login and Patton and the least overt being Remus and Janus.

Ok, so I kinda just want to point this out because I don't really see many people talk about this, but the sides tend to have traits that oppose another like Virgil tends to take bad news more easily than good news, while Roman easily takes good news but has a hard time with bad news.

I think it's really interesting because, beyond their roles, it exhibits them perfectly. (This is mostly displayed in s1 but occasionally they display it in later episodes)Roman is literally Thomas's pride so he's going to hold on to himself with pride and hope people think what he does is good. When they don't, he doesn't take it well. Virgil, on the other hand, expects people not to like him or something of the sort and is flabbergasted when they do.

They're both getting better at this; however, all the sides share traits like this, sometimes multiple traits, and I find it a really cute way to show they're connected in a way that isn't explicitly told.

What if everyone is overthinking things and the orange side isn't rage or jealousy and instead is the subconscious because the subconscious is there, it always will be and it only really shows itself with strong emotions like rage or jealousy because you try your best to shove it into the subconscious but it'll always come out worse than before.
