Here's an example of how the normalization of patriarchal beauty standards hurts us all. Im perfectly able to believe that this person has never seen a woman with a happy trail, even though plenty of us have them naturally (I have one myself). The fact that the vast majority of women are removing this totally natural, harmless feature makes women feel like freaks for having it themselves.

It means we have to account for those differences in the name of equity and equality - which doesn't mean women need ~special treatment~ or kid gloves, it means we have to remove barriers to equal opportunity.

Something that pisses me off about troon logic is that they don’t even just want to be women. They think some pills and wigs are gonna make them the hot, popular girls who model and prance around looking perfect in miniskirts? 😂 Like you think that just comes for free with being “being a woman”?

It’s like a girl who thinks transition will automatically make her into LeBron James or the jacked male athlete.

I don’t understand gender ideologues who claim to also be gender abolitionists. If the goal is to eradicate gender, how does actively identifying with the construct of gender—and attributing such personal, sentimental value to it on top of that—move us closer to that goal?

How does redefining the word “woman” into a prescriptive gendered category, rather than allowing it to remain as a descriptive sexed category, move us closer to that goal? It doesn’t. It patently does the opposite.
