I love tumblr more than IG bc IG feels like Iâm posting looking for a job but on here itâs like I already lost the job and my wife and the house and Iâm just sitting on the curb talking to myself
started watching the x-files
being able to hear someone criticizing your behaviour or something you like whether it's music or tv shows or a restaurant you like or clothes or whatever and not immediately collapsing emotionally or responding as though you're being physically attacked is one of the most important skills to develop and a sign of maturity and resilience. if you react like you're a caged animal every time you encounter someone who doesn't like something you do or dislikes something you like or just straight up doesn't like you that needs to be addressed if you want to grow as a person and not live in a constant state of insecurity. if you assume that someone disagreeing with you or disliking something you like, especially if it's an opinion on art and media, automatically impacts your worth as an individual or makes you react the same way you did when you were 5 and another kid didn't want to play with you that needs to be addressed idk what to say it's time to develop some resilience
leftist men talk about revolution this and eat the rich that, but in truth women and children would be the first to get hurt and the last to benefit from any change
Strawberry Full Moon over Ely Cathedral l VeronicaJoPo
29th June 2026. This year's Strawberry Moon was extremely low in the sky, which made it look very large and bright. (A perfect photographic opportunity!)
Girls are unconsciouly aware that they are subject to random punishment, but they donât necessarily connect it to them being female, so they donât understand why theyâre being punished, and they internalise it as shame, because of course itâs their fault, why wouldnât it be? nobody else is punished like they are. The situation of random punishment for girls and women is never explained, because talking about it is taboo, because we canât expose the foundations of our civilization, which is literally the slavery of women.Â
Also when a girl says it is unfair she is punished at all or harsher compared to guys usually lead to more punishment, so that we learn to keep quiet and not complain
The abusers arenât willing to admit, even to themselves, that their actions are motivated by misogyny. Because they donât want to be seen as hateful and irrational. They do everything possible to conceal the fact that their hostility toward female people comes from misogyny, and try to make an example out of any girl who dares point this out. They insist that itâs always based on individual failings:
âSheâs just too loud. Sheâs too slutty. Sheâs too stuck up. Sheâs too weak. Sheâs too annoying. Sheâs too bossy. Sheâs too aggressive. Sheâs too shrill. Sheâs too fat. Sheâs too awkward. Sheâs too crazy. Sheâs too needy. I donât hate girls! I just hate each specific girl for being so unlikable and bad as an individual.â
Misogynists insist that each of the girls they hate has a unique character flaw that is 100% her own fault and has nothing to do with being female. âIf you want to be treated better, just change yourself into a girl who is worthy of respect.â For most girls, itâs only after searching for years for the nonexistent âgirl who is perfect enough to deserve respectâ that they start to see misogyny for what it is.
It's why "Karen" and "terf" are so effective. The terms are shorthand for "bad woman" and thus "acceptable target". Men can claim they don't hate women, they just hate bad women. Of course any woman who stands up for herself and/or her beliefs is considered a bad woman.
It's the same with female politicians. People are "willing to vote for a woman" in theory, but in practice they hold female politicians to unrealistically high standards and disqualify each individual woman for one reason or another.
i wish i liked genre fiction more iâm kind of jealous of people who can devour 300 fantasy novels a year without getting bored. and whenever i talk about what kind of books i like as a literary fiction lover i sound both pretentious and stupid. like. i like books that are⊠good... i like it when there are⊠themes. what themes? idk really just themesâŠ
formative years? arenât they all?
I made some lesbian labrys flag variations with shields, since the black triangle in the original is a misrepresentation and wasn't actually associated with lesbians historically. I picked shields because they're cool lesbians have always had to defend themselves from the lesbophobia of every side, plus if we're already armed with axes, let's be protected too! Here I have the heater shield, wedge shield, and the lozenge (which wasn't really a shield, but exceptionally powerful unmarried women would display their coat of arms with it, as shields were associated with warfare and men) picked due to their simple shape language I thought about using the Minoan shield, since the lesbian labrys has its origins in the Minoan labrys, but it ended up looking like a peanut lol
if I ever say I hate men just remember itâs only bc men have hated me first, more prominently, cruelly, and violently than Iâd ever dream of doing

"The sculpture in the image is âDas Schicksalâ (Fate), created in 1905 by Hugo Lederer. The sculpture portrays fate as a ruthless woman dragging two vulnerable bodies by their hair.
The work is currently located in Ohlsdorf Cemetery in Hamburg, Germany."
