On the subway I had a conversation with a friend about building a new deck, and I mentioned cutting some 2x4's. Someone next to me started to ramble on and on about how I should not be cutting 2x4's because they're sentient creatures, along with some vegan bullcrap. I asked if she knew what a 2x4 was. Before I used to know about otherkin, I used to pretend I'm a goddess just for fun. I NEVER lashed out on anyone because they didn't take me seriously(hence I didn't take me seriously) and I felt really bad when I learned about these otherkin stuff.
