Christians and Atheists

Atheist: Your god doesn't exist.

Me: My God does not exist to you.

Atheist: It's just like believing in Santa.

Me: Except Santa doesn't have spiritual connections with people...

Atheist: If your god exists why doesn't he talk to me?

Me: Because you don't want to listen.

Atheist: If a god existed why do innocent people get killed?

Me: We all have free will. And believe it or not death can bring good things.

Atheist: Well the Old Testament said that people should be put to death if they commit adultery. I thought your god was one of love.

Me: The Old Testament was written to correspond with the culture of that period. Back then it was the accepted punishment for a crime like that.

Atheist: It's not logical.

Me: You're right, it's not. But as long as it makes me a better person why should it concern you?

Atheist: Christians like Westburo Baptist are just hate groups. You're all the same in trying to get us to conform to you.

Me: There are bad people in every group. Some Christians are so upset and confused that they display hate and not love and are rude and not patient. Don't take your hate for some people out on an entire religion.

I can't stand when people flake on me! Like don't make plans with me, get me excited about seeing you then tell me your boss wants you to work. I understand that you need to work and it'll be worth it later but you weren't scheduled and now your boss wants you to pick up someone else's shift?! Just say NO. Now my logic is that you've been sick for the last four days,we haven't talked much,I leave in three days and our time is limited. I just want to see you,hug you,kiss you,laugh with you,and cuddle with you. Is that too much to want? I don't think it is but I am trying to look on a positive note that maybe there was a reason that things didn't work out tonight but it's really hard to think like that when I'm angry. So enough with my ranting,I'm going to sleep.
