Uh... About that-

I'm so sorry guys... I'm gonna have to reschedule. I'm currently enrolled in a play at my local theater. Between the rehersals and this week being show week, I have had ZERO time to work on anything extra. I have this month's piece about half finished already, but I don't want to rush just to put out something half decent.

Give me just a little bit. Lets shoot for March the 10th or 11th. I should be done with shows by then.

whats blix maina about?

Oh- Blix-Mania? Its my own personal new years resolution, a way for me to get better at vector art and modeling. Something to motivate me and get me to draw more.

For each month, I look at a JSAB creator and ask if I can draw their version of Blixer if they have one. I spend the month studying the way their references are modeled and the general flow of their art, then make something nice for them in the form of a drawing! I get to study character design, they get a little bit of promotion and a free piece of art! Win win!

I'm already having a really fun time with it! Addict's Blixer was really fun to model. Really looking forward to getting the next piece out! ^^

XDDD GUYS I'M SCREAMING!

@jsabaddict loved the piece I made for them! This is insane!! They're like- one of the HUGEST motivators for me every single day! I worked so hard and I was so scared they wouldn't like it. Its so incredible to see I did a good job! Love ya Addict!

Also, I've been asked if I take commissions! HELLO?! I'm good enough for that? When did we get here?! My god- I didn't even think I was good enough at this to do art trades!

To answer the question, yes... kind of. I will not take any kind of money, I don't deserve it at all. BUT- I STILL DO TAKE ART TRADES AND REQUESTS! Trades are prioritized over requests, you know how it is. Just DM me and we can work something out. I'd be so happy to draw for you all!

This is my new year's resolution.

To get better at drawing and rendering, I'm going around and drawing as many Blixers as I can get my hands on. I don't care how detailed, I need to practice. These hands need experience and exercise.

If you don't mind, may I nab a reference of yours? I don't ask for anything in return, I just want to draw your silly little guy. The finished piece will be DMed to you unless you want me to post it. All I need are 1-3 reference photos. If you wouldn't like me too, that's also alright. You have no obligation at all.

I feel like I should let you guys know what's gonna be happening from now on.

As most of you know, I kinda suck at vector art. I consider myself to be very incompitent and inexperienced with my methods. So, in order to better myself and improve my skills with some practice, I have a new year's resolution. You can read about it in the ask above.

Unfortunately, I have since set myself a few limits. I will only be drawing one Blixer per month in order to keep up with school and other projects as well. If something comes up, I may delay a post, and I will let you guys know. Finished pieces will be scheduled to be posted on the last day of every month.

For January, I've decided to start strong with a VERY complicated design from @jsabaddict. Because of a few life events (mainly just getting sick constantly with migranes and strep throat), I will only be doing a shot from the shoulders up due to the lack of time. I'll try my best to make up for it with some cool background details.

Stay tuned for the 31st of January! Pray for my sanity. TwT

Gah- this one was HARD- so many small details! Gotta love that design though. SCRUMPTIOUS!

hhh- hey guuuuyyyyys! I'M NOT DEAD!

Well, that was kinda the worst time to step away, wasn't it?

I'm so very sorry for the sudden absence! I'll be honest with you all. After working on my story, I've hit a brick wall. I've already had to completely scrap and redo the entire prologue TWICE. And now, with only 2 scenes left to go... I can't find a good way to move forward with it. I spent hours upon hours every night working on it, stressing over it every single day. It was starting to completely take over my life. My mental health was crumbling, my nerves were constantly shot, I was NOT getting enough sleep, art and writing block were through the roof, and my motivation was nonexistent.

So, after a few comments from some friends and a moment to think it over, I decided to step back and take a small hiatus. I desperately needed the mental health break for the sake of my own wellbeing.

BUUUUT NOW I'M BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER! Self esteeme is thriving, motivation is flowing, and I'm ready to tackle this wall! Expect content in the future, for REAL this time!

woo I worked hard on this one. It’s a shorter chapter, and is more of a chill lighthearted one to give the heroes a break from the angst and let them bond. But this is the first full chapter I’ve made while in college, so while it might not be the coolest one, it’s taken way more effort and I’m proud of myself :]

Gotta love the tiny background details, it kinda feels warm and cozy to me. Even the sign writing is just a chef's kiss. You can tell how much heart was put into this.

The way the pannels are layered is SCRUMPTIOUS.

You only get this form for now though. Though it isn't really relevant to the story at the moment, its still an important design. This form actually has the most appearances out of every reference and scene in my entire story.

Seriously, this took me two weeks to sketch, ink, and draw, its one of my most complicated designs by far. I'm so proud of myself!
