Hyperactive Border Youkai and Ghost Princess Mode
Yukari: "HEALER'S DOWN!"
Youmu: "OUT OF MANA!!"
Yuyuko: "NEED A REZ!!!"
Yukari: "AAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!"
Youmu: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!"
Yuyuko: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!"
Obligatory Random Rai: "And this is why they are not allowed to play video games."
"Sqqqueeeaakkk!!" The little Koa bat now flying around.
Yuyuko: "SOMEONE CALL THE BATMAN!"
Yukari: "I feel absolutely terrible...This blog has little to no action going on! We need to fix this, and quick!"
(@ Lunariansage) Yukari's Adventures of Boredom; Eirin's Clinic.
"Ah, thank you very much, little inaba.~"
Yukari gave the girl a bright thankful smile before she scurried out. Yukari reached for a mochi and took a light bite. Her face lit up and she placed a hand on her cheek as she chewed slowly giving happy muffled moans.
"Mmm.~ It’s very yummy!~ Thank you for the food.~ Oh right, my story. Yes, a fair trade indeed.~ Now, where to begin…You see, her name I shall keep private for the sake of her privacy, but she is indeed from ancient Egypt. It seems she embodies the ancient Egyptian god of the underworld Anubis. Recently, she returned to her old home to find it in ruins from the many thousands of years that have passed. However I myself visited the more modern cities such as Cairo. I must say, it really is hot there, so my parasol came in much more handy."
Yukari took a sip of her tea before continuing. She obviously enjoyed the taste, giving an approving smile.
"So many street vendors and interesting trinkets. I even visited their museum to see all of the artifacts it held, and boy was there a LOT.~ Ancient Egyptian culture was apparently the very first to have actual beer, did you know that? I was rather surprised, really."
"Apparently, indeed." Now that was a particularly mysterious smile that played on Eirin’s lips, implying a knowledge of some unknown history, perhaps, or simply denoting the doctor’s amusement that the creation of alcohol was a key point in Yukari’s narrative. To be quite honest, Eirin was curious into the nature of this youkai formed of an Egyptian god, but she held her curiosity for the moment. If the gap youkai had deferred from revealing even the name of the child, then further information was unlikely to be particularly forthcoming.
"So you amused yourself in the modern culture and sites of the nation. That sounds quite pleasant indeed, though I am not sure if any of the residents here would appreciate the climate of that particular location." The doctor glanced down, taking a moment to swirl her tea in her cup before she continued to speak, "And did your guest find what she was looking for? Was it simply a visit of interest to see how things had changed, or was there a particular objective involved?"
"I have to admit, I was quite shocked to learn this. And much of the ancient past seemed to revolve around a single human being treated as a god. They were referred to as Pharaohs, and they weren't only worshiped as kings but as divine entities themselves."
Yukari's voice had a happy chirp to it. Happier than most people would be to learn of such interesting history. Taking another sip of tea, and another bite of some mochi, she went on.
"Ah, yes I did. It was one of the most splendid historical vacations I have ever taken, and that is saying something.~ So much history and culture, all but forgotten by the flows of time. As for my guest, she did. You see, before her ventures to her old home, she had a great case of memory loss. It seems that, after reaching the remains of the palace she once tended to, her memories returned to her. When we all returned, I met up with her before I headed home and she told me some fascinating stories. I think I should bring you along next time I decide to visit Egypt, miss Eirin.~"

Maribel giggled lightly at Kyon’s apparent status. So Koizumi was deputy chief and Mikuru was the mascot huh? Well that was interesting enough, she didn’t expect their to be such roles.
"I see. Perhaps Kyon might be just as important as the leader herself, then.~ Odd jobs tend to be the hardest and most interesting of requests after all.~ Now as for my own experience…hm…Let me think back…"
And think back she did, well more like think of a decent fib. She recalled her knowledge on Japanese schools and what they require, so she then remembered the student council concept. This pleased her enough, so she said this.
"Ah yes, I used to be student council president at my old school. I was elected as such due to the charming aura I tend to put out and the leader-like composure and charisma I possess, apparently."
At first Haruhi was worried about what her past clubs might be, but once revealed and wave of relief came over her.
"Thank goodness all of positions of our Student Council are taken. Though I can see why you would be perfect for the roll. Oddly enough Koizumi is quite charismatic from what I’ve observed. Maybe you two can work in teams and round up new members with that charm?"
Haruhi smiled over such a plan, but it did worry her slightly. Just what if Maribel was as good as she said? Maybe there wouldn’t be enough room to house all the new people drooling over Mikuru and her. She mentally sighed and decided it was useless thinking about that issue. If more people brought about a better room due to the size, she couldn’t complain either.
"So I do hope you don’t plan on joining any other clubs. This one is very active and any other clubs will only cause you to lag behind, and punishments will be handed out if you do."
"Ah, an effort to gather others by simple charm.~ That sounds like it could be fun.~"
Ah, such a wonderful sounded suggestion Haruhi had made. It definitely brought a few fun ideas into Maribel's head.
"Ah! No of course not! I wouldn't be able to split my attentions in such a way, you see. Besides, this club has an air to it that's far too...intriguing to split away from, to put it delicately. So don't worry, miss Suzumiya.~ I have no intention of joining any other clubs.~"
"Care to have a little fun teasing Yukari other me?"
Yuyuko: "Oh you know it, other me.~"
(@ Lunariansage) Yukari's Adventures of Boredom; Eirin's Clinic.
"Oh my my, I didn’t think you were one to boast, miss Eirin.~"
Yukari stifled some laughter. To think Eirin was one to boast in such a way, it was quite interesting to see. Yukari took a sip of her own tea and relaxed in her own “seat”.
"Well, I am glad that you think so. I try to be as pleasant as possible, especially with having a family of my own. To be so careless as to become unpleasant company would not only give me a bad name, but also have my family think less of me. I’d rather not have that, you see?"
Yukari thought back to the days of Rai, her precious daughter, playing in the yards of the shrine, or the yards of Mayohiga, playing tag with Chen or other games with Ran. It brought a smile to her face, and even a slight tear. She snapped to quickly when Eirin had asked her to tell stories.
"A-Ah! Yes, of course. I have to say with my abilities, stories of travels can be on par with many fantasy novels.~ Let’s see…Perhaps you would enjoy a story of mine including travels to Egypt? There is a very unique girl within the confines of Chireiden I was asked to escort there, and I couldn’t help but look around myself."
"Ah, someone unique? I assume that you mean some sort of one-of-a-kind youkai, yes? Such things are what I would expect when it comes to rare or foreign individuals in Gensokyo." The doctor folded her arms slowly and sat back, thinking over it before giving a light smile. "Well it certainly does sound interesting."
The two were interrupted at that point by one of the inaba entering the room with a small basket of woven bamboo, cloth covering the contents. The girl rather hurriedly set the object out before retreating out into the hallway again. Another one was quick to follow, bringing a tray of tea and cylindrical cups.
"And here are your mochi and tea it would seem, Miss Yukari. I would very much like to hear your story if you wish to tell it, and in exchange you are welcome to help yourself to these. I think this a fair trade, hm?"
"Ah, thank you very much, little inaba.~"
Yukari gave the girl a bright thankful smile before she scurried out. Yukari reached for a mochi and took a light bite. Her face lit up and she placed a hand on her cheek as she chewed slowly giving happy muffled moans.

Maribel giggled softly, amused by Haruhi’s comment about the tea, and Mikuru’s reaction towards it. She enjoyed the tea herself, very tasty indeed.
"Yes, this tea is quite splendid. I’ll have to convince miss Mikuru for the secret.~"
If there’s one thing that Maribel knew about tea, it’s how it tasted better with good company. And this company was far beyond good, to say the least. she was well aware of the interesting allure each one of these members had, Haruhi in particular.
"Ah, yes ma’am. If you don’t mind me asking one right away, are there any special positions granted to the members? I think it’s obvious miss Suzumiya is the leader of the group, so I was wondering if anyone else had certain positions."
"Of course we do," she proclaimed with glee. "I’m the Brigade chief obviously, and I run most of the club operations here. Koizumi over there is my Deputy Chief. He gained that title on our trip to an Island Murder Mystery that he set up himself just to entertain us! I also discuss ideas for the club with him, and he’s great with feedback. Mikuru is out hot mascot to bring in the crowds, and Yuki came with the room. She’s quiet, but helps us out whenever we need it. So she kind of became a member by default. Then there’s Kyon."
She paused and glared at him for a moment before continuing. “The only things he’s good for is doing odd jobs and such. He did help me come up with the idea of starting the club, but other than that he’s useless.”
Some how explain the duties of her friends brought a spark to day. It was fun to bring new people into her club, and know that she would stay made it all the more satisfying.
"What about you Maribel? Were you in any other clubs prior to joining this school? I can’t have to being a traitor in the end."
Maribel giggled lightly at Kyon's apparent status. So Koizumi was deputy chief and Mikuru was the mascot huh? Well that was interesting enough, she didn't expect their to be such roles.
"I see. Perhaps Kyon might be just as important as the leader herself, then.~ Odd jobs tend to be the hardest and most interesting of requests after all.~ Now as for my own experience...hm...Let me think back..."

A chibi anon appears in front of the mun and muse. "Hello! I'm here in front of you today to tell you something important." He then proceeds to climb on top of the muse's head. "I just want to say that I love the way you rp your muse even if you don't follow me or rp with me. It's fine because I'm fine with just reading your rp's." With that said. He then carefully climbs down the other. Making sure he doesn't fall off the muse. Finally on the ground, he makes a peace sign before leaving.
Yukari: "O-Oh my.."
Yuyuko: "The mun passed out..."
(@ Lunariansage) Yukari's Adventures of Boredom; Eirin's Clinic.
"Ah, mochi sounds lovely~! I haven’t had that in quite a long while. Yuyuko tends to eat it all before I get a chance to have some for myself. Note to self, have Youmu prepare it in much larger quantities."
Yukari gave a chuckle, thinking back on just how many times that happened. It didn’t actually anger her, she could never stay mad at her ghostly lover after all.
"Balanced, you say? Well, I would be inclined to agree, not to seem a little too narcissistic. I have met other versions of myself, and I must say, I have seen such a wide variety. Super cute and shy ones, overly seductive and sometimes even sadistic cruel ones. It’s an experience that I don’t think I could ever really get used to, really."
Ah, Eirin’s words made the gap youkai blush a little. She found her interesting, did she? Well that was certainly unexpected but definitely welcome. Yukari waved her hand, as if waving off Eirin’s comment, taking a sip of her tea before she spoke.
"Oh please, miss Eirin, you flatter me so.~ Surely as odd as I may be, I can’t be all that interesting to you, can I? After all, you have so many more interesting qualities than I, and conversation is certainly one of them. Perhaps tales of my travels would interest you, yes?"
Eirin nodded and tapped her foot lightly on the ground a few times, calling for a rabbit to bring some of the leftover mochi that was kept in storage each month. “Well, even if Miss Youmu were to make it herself, I doubt that she could quite match our rabbits in quality nor quantity of the resulting product.” It was less of a boast and more of a matter of facts. Mochi was a tradition of the rabbits as it had been for hundreds of years. To think that they could be bested in that regard was preposterous.
"And yes, you know exactly of those other versions of yourself that I find less than enjoyable, so by contrast your own presence here is rather pleasant if for no other reason." Eirin smirked lightly and sat back in her chair, pressing her fingertips together in a steeple against her abdomen. "If you care to share with me some of the stories of your travels, then I certainly would not object. I do not have nearly the kind of experience or ability with such journeys myself, so it would be interesting to hear of the things that you have seen and done."
"Oh my my, I didn't think you were one to boast, miss Eirin.~"
Yukari stifled some laughter. To think Eirin was one to boast in such a way, it was quite interesting to see. Yukari took a sip of her own tea and relaxed in her own "seat".

(@ Yuukakazami) Yukari's Adventures of Boredom; Yuuka's Gardens
"Another you? Just freely walking around…? Oh my…"
That sounded a little more troubling than it should have. And if Yuuka says she was off, then this was certainly worth looking into. On the other hand, Yukari tried not to think about how much she was bothering Yuuka with this. It concerned her, but at the same time, she wanted to clear the waters between the two, so to speak.
"I see. Well, if you’d like I could look into this other you walking around. To be honest, that sounds a little, erm…interesting I suppose is the word. Do you know if she’s from the same timeline as you?"
"She’s not. I can remember…most of my existence, and I know I’m not the same manner of being as her. She’s….different. I can’t tell how, exactly, but I know she’s different from me." Yuuka sighed, annoyed just talking about the disgusting other version of herself. It annoyed her to just think about her. "As far as I’ve heard from…sources…she has a penchant for kidnapping young looking youkai for some reason. Perhaps keep an eye on Chen?"
Yuuka’s words were, in fact, meant to rile up Yukari, if the gap sage hadn’t already noticed. Still, even if she wasn’t riled up, the fact that Yuuka was trying something like this would be a tell of how much she felt Yukari should be involved.
Yukari cringed a little. If that was true, could this be one of those "Doppelgangers" she had heard about in her travels? If so then this could turn into a real problem. The gap youkai kept her composure as best she could, especially after that comment about Chen. Chen was a strong girl, and after her more recent training she can certainly handle herself, but those maternal instincts were screaming at Yukari to check on her more often.
"M-Miss Yuuka, I can assure you, Chen can certainly handle herself...She has become much stronger in recent years, more so than even I expected. However, you have a point...I will keep my eye on her more closely so I don't have to worry."
Yukari's voice was obviously filled with concern, not only for Chen but for others as well. She pondered for a moment though, what exactly would prompt someone to pull something like this, implying it were some sort of prank. Even Yukari had her limits when it came to those, being as mischievous as she was. This was legitimately concerning to her.
"Might I suggest you inquire in the Scarlet Devil's librarian? Or perhaps young Alice? I'm sure one of them may be able to assist you in trapping this other you in the very least. You see, I have heard similar cases of these beings. They are known as doppelgangers in the west, and it is said that if one were to see their doppelganger in a dream or in person, then the original will die very soon. I cannot believe the latter statement, but the beings are very real enough. So young Alice or miss Patchouli might be able to help you better than I could, though I would be happy to assist as best I can."
An anon casually walks by with a cart filled with the chocolates Yuyuko was staring at.
~ Yuyuko gets those chocolates and feasts. Chocolaty goodness end. ~
