~*Saying Goodbye*~

As some might’ve predicted from my inactivity, I’ve finally decided to officially retire/quit RP’ing, however you choose to phrase it.. ((I was really hoping to get back to Sam and the wonderful bonds she has made here, but it would seem that I’ve failed as a Mun and am no longer capable of writing in general, let alone for Sammy, so I’m letting her go… Call it being stuck in a rut or simply sucked dry of motivation for this whole thing called life, but I’m afraid I have no further stories to offer, neither for personal pleasure or school.. nothing at all.. Now I don’t want to say that I’ll never get back to RP’ing, because that’s a sad thought and I miss it dearly, but I also know that, although I have the desire to do things, it’s not assurance in the slightest that I’ll actually put it into action. I want to avoid empty promises, so I won’t say that. What I will say is that I do hope to continue to hear from the friends I made here from representing Sam, and that I will always enjoy the Phandom and its members. It’s been such a blessing to participate in all the RP’s I have, to learn all that I have, and to give back all that I have in return. I hope you still think well of me and will keep your arms open if my Sam were to make further appearances here and there, as life is unpredictable.

"Happy 4th of July, Best Friend!!" *cue nervous sweating with a wide-ass grin*

Busy helping with laying out the plates and utensils, Sam heard an awkward greeting from behind. When she saw it was Danny approaching, she smirked playfully, returning again to getting the event ready. “‘Best friend,’ huh? Are we stuck in another one of the Ghostwriter’s antics?”

A childish part of Sam delighted that luck was by her side as she got the red sweet. Leisurely she grabbed Danny by the arm, her teeth holding the ice pop in place as she wordlessly guided him a fair stretch away from the crowd to a seemingly random tree among its clusters of clones. There Sam released her hold and looked at Danny expectantly, a smirk on her face as she squeezed the end of the wrapper to beckon a chunk of its flavored ice.

Danny chuckled at the look on his friend’s face, holding up his hand at her. “I swear, I didn’t send them away!” He gave a quick lick to his blue popsicle and looked innocently at the goth.

"Mhm, I'm sure," Sam smirked around the popsicle. "You're the picture of innocence." Sam had subtly circled the bark of the tree, searching for something, when her face lit up in triumph and she waved Danny over. "Aha! Found it. You didn't think I dragged you into the woods for fun, did you? Look." 

Sam was pointing at an old carving int he bark, its lines jagged and fading. Spelled crudely were the names of Tucker, Danny, and Sam, and a promise to be 'friends 4ever' underneath. Sam gave a laugh at the sentiment, but her gaze on it was reverent nonetheless. Such losers they were. "I found it during one of my nighttime walks," Sam supplied.  "I thought it'd be nice to show you guys tonight-- that it'd be a little more special.. Corny, huh?"

It would appear as though Sam’s prolonged stare and steady lack of response promised negative concatenation. Sam saw the form a nervous swallow slip down Danny’s throat. The slight puffs of his breath ghosted her chilled skin, and Sam subconsciously leaned into its warmth. His shy words fell on attentive ears, and by its encouragement Sam released a joyous, disbelieving laugh. The more-than-a-friend brought up her hand to guide his lips closer to hers with light fingertips. “Me too,” she replied simply, and then his lips were once again met with her smiling ones.

Danny was stunned, to put it mildly, soon relaxing once more when his lips were guided back to brush against Sam’s. His eyes fluttered shut and his hands slipped to the girl’s cheeks, holding her firmly, but gently at the same time. His lips parted subtly around her upper one, his return kiss slow and light, though perfectly wedged into the crevice of her own parted smile.

Warmth sparked in his heart, urging it to skip a pace and beat gradually faster, his nerves tingling throughout his entire lean frame. “Mmm—” He sighed into the kiss through his nose, pressing his mouth repeatedly against her upper lip every time he parted and re-parted his supple smooth lips. Moisture locked onto both of their skin, the taste of the goth already overwhelming the boy’s senses.

She tasted simply wonderful: crisp, like the cool air that surrounded them, yet sent flares and sparks of heat into his being; fresh rain, like her love for nature carried about her; and something else—something amazing that she held of her own personal scent and flavor…

From tentative and cautious to bold, the kiss slowly deepened, and despite the nervous, almost nauseating flip of stomach that comes with a first kiss, Sam welcomed it easily. Maybe she wasn't doing it right, but what did it matter when her senses were currently being overcome with 'Danny'? His scent, his taste -- Danny's every piece of being melding with her own through the mingling of breaths all engulfed her and threatened to never loosen its hold. Oddly enough, Sam was okay with that. Everything about the experience was intoxicating. It felt right -- natural, like breathing. Sam decided she didn't ever want this new-found source of oxygen to go away.

The feel of his warm hand burning her cheek prompted her own to hold his raised wrist in appreciation, silently daring it to ever leave its place. Maybe this was a mistake. Maybe Danny had acted in the moment, and any second now he would pull away horrified at what he had done. The thought made her mouth falter for a second. An image of Danny stuttering an apology about how he hadn't meant for it to happen, that it was a mistake, crossed her mind and left a sour taste on her tongue. No, Sam was sure Danny wouldn't be so careless. He could be an oblivious guy, that was a given, but he was far from wreckless when it came to something like handling others' emotions, and this most definitely was not a fluke of the whim. This kiss was purposeful, and while she was sure of herself that this was she wanted, that cursed image of a regretful Danny urged Sam to assure that it was the same for her partner. He was too important to lose over something like slipped urges.

Slowly Sam pulled away just enough so that their lips couldn't touch, her hand still securely on his wrist and eyes still closed in post-bliss.

“S-Sam!” Danny squeaked, his face burning bright red before he scrambled for his bed cover to shield himself.

“I’m sorry— I—! Nnngh!” 

He had been feeling hot that night, and not thinking to use his ice powers, he stripped in his bedroom, forgetting to lock the door in his haste to get cooled off.

Now he was met with the embarrassment of trying to tell Sam why he was stark-raven naked and was crawling into his bed just as she opened the door.

Sam blinked at the sight of her starch naked friend busy scrambling for cover. If she was normal, Sam might have shared some embarrassment herself. In factt, a normal person would shut the door and retreat without another word, but Sam’s normalcy was yet again proven scarce when, after a minute or two, the room was filled with raw laughter. The goth wasn’t laughing at him. No, most definitely not. She had just always imagined witnessing this sight in a smoother, more romantic setting; however, the big guy in the sky had other plans, and all Sam could do was laugh at the cards she was dealt with and try to ease his understandable discomfort. The fit of laughter dying out, Sam closed the door behind her and plopped onto his computer chair. If he became so flustered at her getting a peek, one could only imagine his fluster at being found by Jazz or his parents. “Well this’ll be a fun story for Tuck, huh?” she quipped coyly, arms leisurely behind her head and feet on the computer desk.

"Hey, Sam...how you been?"

Word was a returning student named Elliot had joined Casper High recently, but Sam refused to believe it. Luckily she never had the honor of seeing this shady figure since their last nasty encounter.. until today.

Having recognized the voice, Sam paused her pencil strokes. It was lunch time. The boys were out on handling a level-one ghost, and so Sam had opted to sit against a tree in the school’s lawn and sketch awhile. She looked up at the despicable figure coldly, eyes as hard as granite.

With a light shrug and 'thank you', Sam placed her fork down to accept the offered strawberry. Only one, she promised herself, because her taste buds were big on the red fruit and needed to be restrained. She bit into blissfully, and as she chewed Sam had to muffle a laugh.

Lips upturned, Sam placed the side of her palm against her mouth in vain to muffle the sound. A casual smile lingered behind it. “You know,” she started explaining, to avoid looking anymore crazy, “when I was god knows how old, whenever I ate strawberries with the boys, I would smudge them all over my face to look like a vampire and chase Tuck and Danny around. They always screamed so loud, wrapped up make-believe and all, and my mom would have to barge in and send us to time-out.” Sam’s smile turned fond as she went back to her own food and poked at the rice. “It was pretty fun, actually. We always did wacky things like that. I guess we still do.”

Elliot gave an amused snort, popping an entire strawberry in his own mouth.

"So you’re telling me the last time you had strawberries around Tucker and Danny, you chased them around your house or the school?" he gave a light chuckle. "My dad did stuff like that to my brother and I. Also convinced me that green grapes were baby watermelons. My mom thought we were eating them really fast, but I just kept hiding them in the backyard and planting them so that they could grow up. I was like, twelve when my brother found out and called me stupid for it that I realize the truth," he admitted.

"That was a long time ago, I'll have you know. I'm an adult, and a very classy one at that," Sam joked in defense, and then a snort of her own escaped at his story of grapes and betrayal. She grinned indulgently at his unfortunate tale while switching back to eating her rice. "Skipping over the oh-so-shocking fact that I never knew of this secret brother, I must say I like him already, though I'm sorry your dreams were crushed by incompatible fruit."

"Hey, Sam! How are things?" The raven-haired boy walked towards the girl who was just stepping out of her house as Danny walked along the sidewalk.

Sam stopped and smiled at her friend before climbing down her front steps to reach him. “Hey, Danny. I’m actually kinda’ beat. I stayed up last night trying to finish that paper for Mr. Lancer,” she droned, now walking alongside him.

Sam spared a glance at her friend when a comfortable silence washed upon them. Quietly she admired how the sun graced her friend’s features, its angles highlighting the soft bridge of his nose, the smoothness of his familiar skin, the subtle roundness of his cheeks, the humbling hues of blues his irises normally kept secret.. A twinge of fear made its rounds throughout her insides at the thought of losing such a beautiful person. Without Danny… Sam would be.. nothing.

Danny was unaware (as usual) of Sam’s gaze drinking in his features, feeling a little better with her offer of them hanging at her place. What a great girl she was! He wished others thought that of her as easily as he did.

Sam tore her gaze away when she realized how content Danny seemed. Apparently Sam really was rougher around the edges, because her her own insides still were not calm from the events of the movies, and it had only worsened with her resolution to admit to a rather ugly side that peers claim Sam was chopped full of: jealousy. No one could blame her for the secret grimace she allowed herself when the Manson's front door came into view.

Peter stood at his locker, a long sigh escaping his lips. He had just had an encounter with The Lizard, and was pretty beat up. He winced as he opened the locker, hissing in pain from his shoulder. He didn't notice an attractive goth next to him.

Meddling with her stubborn lock, Sam was about to give up and walk away from the cursed thing when her neighbor one locker down from her let a pained noise slip out. She eyed the boy in apparent discomfort, adjusting the straps of her purple spider book bag as she neared him a step. “You okay there?” she checked, announcing her presence to the preoccupied individual.

The dose of pent up frustration and disappointment in Peter’s lack of concern for himself exited Sam in a relenting sigh. There was no point in waiting around for an epiphany from Peter. If he were to agree that something needed to change, that would come later after enough persuasion. For now, she chose to put that argument on the back burner.

She led him by the cuffs of his sleeve to the table where her and May sat comfortably chatting over cans of soda barely five minutes before. Silently Sam pulled out a chair to sit in front of him and held his bloodied hands between her own, never one to flinch at sliced skin or broken bones.

"Sam," he murmured. "I promise I’m okay. I’ll heal up in no time… benefit of the super powers." He gave her a soft smile and sat across from her.

"Super or not, you're a still a bleeding dork that needs to take care of himself," Sam retorted as she revolved his hands and evaluated the cuts. When she decided that they looked worse than they really were, Sam let them go and looked back up at him, serious. "Do you do that to Aunt May, too? Try to pass it off as nothing?"

Zuko frowned when he noticed a girl walking around the field he had just walked to. "Uh... excuse me? You... lost or something?" She certainly didn't look like she was from around here.

The young man’s voice startled her less than his appearance. All was quite normal, and admittedly, his physique was worth applauding, but the scar dominating his features created an underlying countenance of danger Sam had learned to never dare underestimate. “I, uhh..” Drat. She needed an excuse, and quick, but the teen honestly had no idea what realm the cursed Infi-Map tossed her into, let alone a cover story for her blatantly odd apparel.

"You’re not from here, I can tell," he said to her, nodding. "What’s your name? Maybe I can… help you home or to at least figure out where you are."

Sam opted to stay silent and simply stare him down. It was obvious she was an outsider, and a strange one at that. Why this boy hadn't pressed harder about her origins despite her strange appearance, Sam didn't know, but she didn't want to try her luck any further. Escaping the inquisition of one teenage boy was one thing, but to not get dragged somewhere for questioning while parading through a village was unlikely. Agreeing to go anywhere but the other way promised capture. Sam backed up a step, eyes not trusting.

"Hey, I see you survived jumping off my ghost ship," Youngblood said from behind now wearing cowboy gear.

A glare was her immediate reply. Bruises still dotted her sides from the hard landing. Understandably, Sam wasn’t up to deal with this cruel prankster again. “What do you need, Youngblood? Looking for a fight with Phantom again?”

Sam spared a side stare at the wriggling bandit, boots temporarily paused in their tracks and the grip on her bag’s straps sturdy. “And why exactly would I do that?” she inquired, awaiting a convincing reply.

"Because I’m telling you too!" Youngblood growled angrily. "I’m not going to stay on the ground!"

"Gee, that sounded as alluring as the promise of beef jerky," She deadpanned. "Not gunna' happen. Sorry, kiddo. I'm not in the business of helping jerky criminals, and you're definitely not worth being late to school for. Unless, of course, I get that apology."

"By Your Side Till You Heal."

White ceiling, white walls, that’s what he saw as his eyes crack open. What’s did he die and gone to heaven? That would suck, he’s too young to die. Danny thought he heard someone else in the room with him. His head shifted to find a familiar face sitting in the room with him. He opened his mouth with a perplex but soft happy tone, “S-Sam?”

“Three days. It was a bad hit, but Danny,” she interrupted abruptly, changing the subject, “that’s not the issue. There’s something up with this whole thing, and by ‘up’ I mean ‘completely normal’. Those results didn’t show a single speck of anything abnormal. I don’t really understand how, but… it’s like any trace of ectoplasm was nonexistent. I’m worried Johnny might have done more damage than we expected him capable of.”

Danny sat up, puzzled. He didn’t like being confused, it makes him mad. “What do you mean ectoplasm was nonexistent? Johnny’s attack? What the heck did Mr. Unlucky do?

Sam shook her head and placed a hand on his shoulder to hopefully placate him. There were still tubes making the boy their home, and the last thing she needed was for a discombobulated and slightly drugged Danny to accidentally tug out the taped needles from under his skin.

"I'm usually the one to go to with this type of stuff, but... I don't know this time," Sam admitted, slightly annoyed with herself for not having an answer when it counted most.

"Mercy kill."

"Wha-…. Why would you-…? No. I can’t.. I won’t,” Sam affirmed through momentarily grit teeth. The sharpness of her countenance, though, was quickly replaced with a sorrowful one. She put a hesitant hand on Lilith’s shoulder, saddened lilac eyes piercing through her companion. “Lilith, listen. I don’t know what’s made you think this a solution, but it’s not. Suicide is never the answer. Even if it’s not by your own hand, it’s not-… Are you listening to me, Lilith?”

She looked up at her, her eyes were dull and half open. Her face was tear stained as if she had previously been crying. “Y-Yeah I’m listening… but Sam you don’t even know what I’ve been through. I know it’s been a while since I’ve seen you and in those few months I’ve made friends but there is always something or someone threatening us. And I… I am never powerful enough to beat them. Every time I do try to fight they always beat me to a pulp and then they make our torment worse because I tried to fight. If I can’t do anything to help and only make things worse I might as well just die…” tears were forming in her eyes.

The idea of feeling more a troublesome life than a useful one was not new to Sam in any shape or form. She had heard about the feeling more times than she could count, and experienced had of course felt it herself her fair share of times. Being the accomplice of the Ghost Boy and the reason for his being in the first place calls for a lot of pouts grieving and depressive episodes Sam learned to get through for both herself and Danny. No, this train of thought plaguing Lilith wasn't new, but it wasn't any less worrisome to hear. "Lilith, you couldn't possible think the world would be better without you..."

"Today’s agenda: hit every corner of Amity and ransack all the goods. Who’s with me?"

"I am!" Lilith said excitedly.

"That's what I like to hear," Sam grinned, excitement and amusement at her pal's spirit in her eyes. Unsurprisingly, Sam loved everything about Halloween. The colors, treats, wardrobe, and the chill of the air compose the recipe for a atmosphere Sam often sought to immerse herself in. the fact that the occasion was restricted to one night a year only boosted Sam's eagerness to get out there and join in on some spooky shenanigans.

With her usual outdoor outfit that'd she wear when out in public on, Isa had been enjoying a casual walk through Amity's park. As she walked along the side walk, she noticed a girl with a rather bleak outfit. Thinking they could use some cheering up, Isa strolled herself over to the girl. "Hi there!" she cheerfully greeted.

Sam Manson turned towards the peppy voice. Now in front of her was a seemingly sickly sweet girl in an assemble almost as light and soft as her voice, much to Sam’s distaste. With tentative reluctance, she asked “Can I help you?”, counting on the possibility that maybe this person was lost. Why else would one say hello to a stranger?

"Let’s get a move on then," Sam suggested with a smile. She stood up and gathered her things, saying, "I’m not certain if my folks will be home or not… They constantly travel for those darn business trips and wind up leaving me out of the loop, but my Grandma will definitely be there to greet us."

Once she was ready and finished wiping off any crumbs from the table for the next guests, she straightened up and smiled at Isa. “You’ll like her. She’s a very kind woman. Truthfully, she’s the only piece of family I have that accepts me for who I am.. She’s the type of person that loves everybody unconditionally.”

Isa felt a twinge of distress at the mention that another would be present at Sam’s home.  Though when she said that her Grandma was the kind of woman who would love unconditionally, she eased up.  But there was risk there be a lot of people home that would become curious as to why she’d wear such warm clothes when inside, especially since they conceal any of her distinctive features that not a whole lot of people want to see in Amity Park.

"Well, Isa is sure that Sam’s family is quite nice." she said, hoping she can keep her concerns hidden away.

Sam’s smile loosened at the sound of concern in Isa’s voice. She noticed the slight tenseness that had overtook other girl’s stance for a second, but decided to not press about it. They had just met, after all. There was reason for Isa to be nervous, but Sam was sure that all uneasiness would be assuaged once Isa met Grandma Manson. It was hard not to feel at home around the woman graced with age, and the garden’s unique air worked wonders to the body. Sam was sure it would all go smoothly, and so she smiled confidently enough for the both of them as she opened the door for Isa and walked beside her on the sidewalk.

Snapped|| Closed RP with Spectralgoth

Danny didn’t care at all of the attention that he was creating. He had one thing in mind was to get to Vlad’s place with as much destruction he could do on his way to that goal. He took entire floors off of buildings with one strike of his claws. He turned around and then  burnt a few cars and then kicked others over. He saw that there was a police baracade in front of him and he simply just let the fire build in his mouth and launched a massive fireball at the line of cop cars. He then simply walked over the smoldering piles of wrecked cars.

He stopped for a moment at the school, his claws now ablaze as he slashed the school into three parts and then set the building on fire. He let out another feral roar as he slowed down just ever so slightly, a bit tired from how much fire energy he has already used and he wasn’t even half way to Vlad’s mansion.

It wasn't difficult to locate Danny, despite all the smoke, debris, and confusion. He was a towering beast, after all. Sam pushed her way through the mobs heading in the opposite direction, away from the danger and towards safety, though where they could be going Sam had no clue. With Danny's strength nowhere was safe once he set his sight on it. All these people were gone for. Aware now, Sam gulped down the thought that they were scrambling to say their goodbyes before the whole town and themselves were swallowed by fire. She quickened her strides.

What exactly was Danny doing? What was he thinking? This was madness. This was wrong.

The teen found herself panting and fighting for breath in front of a freshly destroyed Casper High. A tiny part of her thought it ironic that at any other time, Sam might have cheered along with her classmates upon finding the rubble of their school, ultimately excused from schoolwork and enjoying a mini vacation, but now the sight only served to make her sick. This was Danny's doing, and again she found the whole thing wrong. Her stomach clenched as she watched her giant of a draconic friend move on towards his next destination. What was happening?

Sam had to talk to him. She had to catch his attention, but with all the hellish sights and sounds, how could she bother him to even look at the ground, let alone avoid being squashed by the dragon or trampled by citizens on the way? It felt hopeless, really, but 'give up' wasn't in her vocabulary. She had to do something, fear be damned. Scanning the scene in front of her, Sam locked her eyes onto an destroyed apartment complex and made a run for it.
