Spectacular looking planets in Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Someday, Lux Shepard, Cas Shepard, their husbands Kaidan and Garrus, best galpal Miranda, and adopted daughter Tali, should go out on the town ;)
They totally should!
I could just see them having a good time! Though I could see Lux getting REAL drunk after drinking one of the Krogan drinks and Kaidan and Miranda both have to carry him out of the bar...Tali also needs to be carried out after using her 'emergency induction port'.
Grunt is on his own.
Cas and Miranda teach Tali how to game the system at the casino by calculating odds on the fly and then treat Lux and Kaidan and Garrus to a fancy dinner
They go back to that restaurant with the fish. It's all fixed up since the attack and Tali makes a point of showing off that's shes there. Lux is like "I feel through the floor right there."

Reblog if your muse has da booty
Oh I am so making a Shepard in the sims now.
Admiral Hackett paced down the ranks of his new recruits, his arms folded and tucked firmly behind his back. His boots clicked against the floor with each step until he came to a stop in the middle of the crowd on men. His focus fell on a soldier that stood tall and proud among the larger soldiers around him. “Soldier.” Hackett said sharply. “Name, and rank.”
“Second Lieutenant Stark. Reporting for duty sir.” Tony lifted his hand into a salute as he stood at full attention as he spoke and let his hands fall to his sides.
Hackett quickly returned the salute then began to look over Tony’s file on his omni tool. “What’s your vocation class and specialty, Second Lieutenant Stark?”
“Computer engineering, weapons mechanics, and vehicle maintenance sir. Tech specialist operative engineer.”
“Your file says you’re quite the engineer. Resourceful.” Hackett said cooly. “Quick learner, top of the engineering program. But your combat skills are lacking. The weakest in your platoon. So, how did you get assigned to this company?” His gaze rose slowly as he looked up from his omni-tool and waited for Tony’s response.
“I let my machines make up for my lack of aim, sir.” Tony said confidently as he ignored the sudden shift of energy from his fellow soldiers. “And I keep the team’s equipment in top condition.”
“I see. It says here you made a drone with the scraps you found in the field during your assessment test. Impressive. But being good with your tech won’t make up for everything, soldier. Especially if you want N7 status. I suggest you start spending more time training with your gun and less time tinkering with salvage if you plan to pass the next phase.” Hackett closed his omni-tool then walked back to the front of the line and turned to face the soldiers.
“Fortunately for you and the rest of this company you’ll all be receiving weapons training under Commander Shepard today. Consider it a privilege that one of the best soldiers to server under the Alliance is here. Pay close attention and you might learn something. And if you’re lucky some day you might get to take orders from the commander in battle. I want you all to dig deep and shows us the best you got. Do you understand?”
The soldiers saluted their Admiral as a unit and shouted in unison. “Sir, yes sir!”
“Very good soldiers.” Hackett once again gave a salute that echoed his experience in his rank. “Now file out and find your stations. Dismissed!”
Before long, the soldiers began moving and weaving through each other as they gathered into groups based on their vocation. Tony drifted towards the other engineers and followed them towards the training course set up with a series of encryption challenges. There was quiet chatter from his companions about how many decorated veterans would be around for the day, and Tony found himself daydreaming over the possibility of some day being on the other end of the command chain, passing on his own skills as the best in his field.
Shepard listened to Hackett break the news of his assignment for the day with a scowl on his face and his arms folded. “Sir. With all due respect. I didn’t become a soldier to play teacher. Can’t you get someone else to do this?”
“Right now we need every soldier to be at their finest. That means learning from the best of us.”
“And you think that’s me.” Shepard answered drolly as he dropped his arms to his side.
“I know it’s you Shepard. Who else is going to sharpen their survival tactics in just a short time? If the reapers are coming like you said, we need to give our troops every edge possible to reduce casualties.”
“The reapers are coming. But I can’t train the entire marine force in a week much less a day.” Shepard said dismissively “Nobody can. I need to focus on finding a way to defeat the reapers.”
“You’re right. Even a year’s time isn’t enough to train every marine. But the council and the Senate still aren’t completely buying your story. So it’s up to us to get the fleet caught up to speed. These are the best and the brightest we have. They’ll take what they learn from you, and pass it down to their fellow soldiers then perfect what they’ve learned until they’re ready for what’s coming.”
“Right.” Shepard knew there was no talking his way out of the assignment with an argument like that. “So. Is it just me out there or will the other commanders be joining the effort?”
“You’ll have Anderson and I there to help split up the work. But you’re the one they look up to. The commander who can survive anything. Even the worst. Just having you there is going to boost their morale. Not just for them. But for the whole Marine Corps.”
Shepard lobbed his head to the side for the briefest of moments before agreeing with a nod. Though he knew this wasn’t an official order from top brass, but a plea from his senior officers. “Alright fine. I can spare one day from my mission to help strengthen the core.”
“Thank you Shepard. We’ll be waiting for your arrival at the training facility. Hackett out.”
Shepard and Hackett preformed their salutes before the vid com closed. Shepard felt just a little more pressure mount on his shoulders, but now wasn’t the time to dwell on the fate of the galaxy. Or how none of the politicians charged with keeping that galaxy safe wouldn’t listen to his warnings. “Joker.” Shepard called out over the intercom.
“Yes commander?”
“Plot a course for the Sol system. We’re visiting Rio Di Janeiro.”
“Aye aye commander. Plotting mass relay jump.”
Shepard left the conference room and found his place on the navigation deck. “Let’s see what the Alliance’s best can do.”
As the Normandy made its jumps through the relay system, the marines back on Earth were getting drilled and having their nerves stressed to their breaking point.
“Get that door open Stark! Go! Go! Go! We can’t wait for you to shoot it open!” Staff Lieutenant Wilson was inches away from the back of Tony’s neck, adding the pressure of an aggressor on his heels to the difficulty of the challenge.
“Yes sir!” Tony moved quickly as he punched the commands into his omni-tool. The encryption wasn’t something he had experience with cracking. But that didn’t deter him from trying to find the solution.
The delay only made Wilson inch closer until his mouth was nearly touching Tony’s ear. “I’m still not seeing those locks open! I thought you were the best engineer in your class, Stark! Get that door open now!”
“Almost there sir!” Tony answered without missing a beat or a keystroke. The screen of his omni-tool scrolled faster than most people could read as he doubled down on his speed.
“Almost isn’t going to keep the enemy from gunning you down in a dead end, marine! MOVE IT!”
After a few more seconds, the door clicked and opened letting Tony through to the next check point. “Got it!” In the next room an unarmed drone guarded the exit door.
“Take out that drone now!” There would be no comforting words from the staff lieutenant. He was there to filter out the troops that couldn’t handle the pressure, not for praising them.
“Yes sir!” Without pausing, Tony deployed his attack drone and began to attempt a hack on the enemy drone.
“With your GUN, marine! If you don’t start hitting targets by the end of this training session you can start hitting the pavement as the new mess sergeant!”
Shit. Tony hated this part. Why did he need guns when drones also shot bullets?? He drew his assault rifle and took aim. One shot. Miss. Two three four. All misses. Tony sneered and cursed the recoil on the standard issued Falcon.
“Quit fingering that rifle and fire like you mean it, marine!”
“Yesir!”
Unbeknownst to him, Tony was being watched closely and scrutinized by Admiral Hackett behind the line of fire. “He’s great with machines but just about everything else is a complete disaster.” Hackett told Shepard in a low whisper. “Barely passed the physical endurance and weapons proficiency exams. That’s where you come in. He doesn’t need to be the best marksmen. But with the things he can do with such little resources, he’s going to be an invaluable asset against the reapers. If he can get through ICT.”
Tony’s last shots hit the drone and took it down, despite Wilson’s exasperated shouts, Tony’s ability to shoot had only improved slightly since his last training session. He braced himself to be reprimanded like he had been every session prior when he heard the Admiral call out from behind the course entrance.
“MARINES! Rank and file! Our guest of honor has arrived!”
Without hesitation the lower ranking officers began to shout at their platoons to get in line and get ready to listen to the Admiral. A quiet murmur rose and quickly softened as the company soon realized they were looking at Shepard standing beside Hackett.
“Marines at attention!”
For a moment the air filled with the sound of over two hundred pairs of boots snapping together. Every set of eyes focused forward on their Admiral as they waited for their next command.
“Today marks the day you will all go back to base as changed marines.” Hackett began calmly. “Because today you will receive the most life altering intel of your lives. We’re looking at an enemy like we’ve never seen before. The existence of humans and all organic life is at stake. So we have to fight with everything we got to stop that. Commander Shepard is going to see to it that you all know what it takes to survive that fight. Nobody, and I mean nobody gets to take leave from this place until each Marine here understands what that means. Do I make myself clear?”
The company saluted as they shouted their reply. “Sir! Yes Sir!”
Hackett returned the salute then turned to look at Shepard. “They’re all yours Commander.”
Shepard saluted the company alongside Hackett then took a step forward when it was his turn to speak. He looked over the marines, taking note of their relaxed expressions. “Marines at ease.”
He took a moment of silence before he began his briefing. He knew soon there would be a few that would be questioning the strength of their resolve. Some would live in denial until reality hit, then they would either step up or shut down. Many would die, but nobody would survive if he didn’t drive home just how near to impossible it would be to defeat the Reapers. The pressure mounting on his shoulders bared down and his brows set firmly with determination. He was not going to fail.
“We are at war with an enemy that threatens the lives of billions across the galaxy. The war ship, Sovereign was not just a ship, it was a spy for a race of machines called the Reapers. The reapers aren’t a race that wants to evolve and flourish peacefully in their own colonies. They can’t be taken down with a few well placed shots like the Geth. They will wipe all life from galaxy and there won’t be any prisoners taken for leverage. Not you, your squad or your commanding officers will be spared. They aren’t interested in capturing our leaders to force a surrender. They don’t want resources or power. They’re only interested in one thing, turning all organic life into abominations that kills any species who fights to stop them.
All of you are here today because you’re the best the Alliance has to Offer. Because you all show promise for protecting humanity’s place in the galaxy. But I’m here to tell you that none of you are good enough yet to win this war. The enemy has been watching us since our species discovered fire, and they’ve been plotting to end us since our first steps in space. Every advance in technology, every medical breakthrough has only served to make the targets on our heads bigger. While we are still learning who the Reapers are and how they work. So if you want to win this war, if you want to survive, you will all need to push your abilities past their limits. To grow, evolve and adapt to win this war.
Some of you were there to see what Sovereign did at the Citadel. Some of you lost friends, family, and spouses on Eden Prime. We've seen what happens to anyone unlucky enough to get captured tortured, processed and transformed into mindless husks. Into cannon fodder. Our politicians and the council still don’t believe the Reapers are on their way, they still won’t listen to us or give our very own eye witness accounts any credence.
But we’re Marines. We all know the people who cut the red tape are also the ones who expect us to lay down and die for their lack of action. We all know how often the things we report get erased from the record books and swept under the rug so they can keep power. But that doesn’t mean it never happened. We have ALL seen the writing on the wall. And I refuse to sit around any longer waiting for the tape to get cut while we suffer consequences.
The Reapers are real even if the records say otherwise. They wiped out the Protheans then waited for the next dominate species to evolve and populate the galaxy. They have not disappeared like the council wants everyone to believe. They know who we are, they know where we’ve placed our colonies. And they’re amassing an army that will wipe out us and every other advanced species from existence if we don’t find a way to stop them. That’s why it’s up to us to take action now by getting every Marine, and Sailor ready for the fight of their lives.
Each of you must do your part in getting the Alliance Fleet ready for this war. Each of you will learn all the vital intel we’ve collected on the Reapers so far. You will become experts in fighting the Reapers forces. You will learn how to put them down quickly and efficiently. You will learn how to spot their ambushes and how to get out of them. And you will learn how to use your weapons to take them down, regardless of your specialization. Even if I have to teach you myself.
When you’re reunited with your divisions, you will pass on what you learn today to your fellow Marines. You will not discuss the mission with anyone who is not a fellow member of the Systems Alliance. You will not obey orders from Ambassador Udina or any other politicians if that order is to refrain from preparing for the Reapers. You will continue to prepare for the Reapers and you will complete your mission of saving all organic life from death at the hands of the Reapers. Do you understand?”
“Sir Yes sir!”
“I can’t hear you, Marines.”
“Sir! Yes sir!”
“The council refuses to get the galaxy ready for the next Reaper attack. Our allies say their hands are tied. Our politicians say they don’t completely believe Eden Prime was the first act of war. Some of you might be wondering if we can pull this off.
Whatever self doubts you feel... whatever anger you have building up inside... turn it into a weapon. Use it to push yourselves through your training and become better than your best. So when our politicians and the council finally get their heads out of their asses, we’ll be ready. Never forget you aren’t just fighting for the future of humanity anymore, you’re fighting for the future of the entire galaxy. Failure means mass extinction for all of us. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen.
Now fall in line and march to the shooting range for your first lesson.”
