Normally, seeing an old friend would result in a bear hug from Autumn, but she wasn’t feeling quite herself these days. Still, it didn’t dim the enthusiasm in her greeting. “Muse! Oh my gosh, it’s been forever! H-how are you, what’ve you been up to?”

      “ Autumn!!! ”

      She flings herself forward, practically knocking Autumn over in a hug that hopefully conveyed just how excited she was. There wasn’t a second of hesitation - for all the time apart, she still considered her to be a friend. 

      “ I’m so glad you’re here - oh - traveling, of course, and setting up a house! Yeah I - well, I figured having a home to go home to makes sense - and what about you ? How was Halloween ? ”

      Her feet don’t quite touch the ground, swinging through the open air. Her skin is a mess - bright blues and golds rocketing over her in the pattern of sparklers, working down to her palms.

    “ Oh - oh, please be careful! ”

     She WORRIES, looking for the moment when she should rush in and help. Nothing had quite gone wrong yet, and the anticipation was almost maddening.
