Lotus unveil their 2015 car, the E23

Lotus, like a number of other teams have taken to social media to show off their new car for the first time.

The E23, like it’s 2014 counterpart, will be driven by Frenchman Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado, although with the difference that they will be using Mercedes engines for 2015, instead of Renault which they had been using for the last 20 years, dating back to the Benetton in 1995.

Ferrari have named their new car on social media ahead of a formal unveiling on Friday.

Russia drops twilight race plans for 2015

Plans for the Russian Grand Prix to be held under floodlights, in a similar fashion to the Abu Dhabi have been dropped for 2015, with the race taking place in a conventional afternoon time slot.

Race organisers suggested last year that their preferred option was for the race to be held at twilight, although it has been confirmed that they have agreed with FOM an afternoon time slot of 2pm.
