The spin even is the correct colour! Clearly an influence of Big Hedgehog. Or, as emojis are sorta a glyphic language, they are showing signs of distant relationship to echidnaen glyphs. 😉

it's kind of sad that we don't really do custom ringtones anymore. most people just stick with the default list that comes with your phone, if they change it at all. if they're even aware they can change it at all. like yeah, people letting their phones ring in public is obnoxious, but wouldn't it be a little less obnoxious if it was something funny? or personal? people used to change the text tone of every contact so every time they got a text they knew who it was just from the sound. isn't that sweet? isn't that nice? don't you miss it? don't you want to scream when you hear that stupid apple pa-Ting!??? we could have a chorus of awoogas and clips of people's favorite songs and recordings saying '(blank) IS CALLING, WARNING, (blank) IS CALLING' and all things considered i would prefer that over pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, whistle whistle, pa-Ting!

anyway im going to change my ringtone to the oldschool skype call sound and nobody will ever hear it because my phone is always on silent but i'll know. i'll know

I don’t know if I’ve shared this here. This isn’t my whole collection by far. It’s been my fun little shrine at work. All my special little guys. Alas, I have to take it down today because it’s almost my last day here. We are moving away soon. Just wanted to get a picture to remember this one. Not sure if I’ll have a place to set it up again at my next job.

Anyway, to this version of my shrine, you brought me immense joy every day. I’ll find a new place for you as soon as I can. 💙🦔❤️

Okay @humanityinahandbag made a great point in their post here. I’ll just drop quick quote which was:

I think that’s a spectacular idea and would like to invite and implore our fellow Sonic writers to jump on this post and reblog a link to some of your stories. Old, new, complete or unfinished, anything ya got welcome here. Just a little basket of fics for anyone who needs a brake right now.
