âIâm just looking for a book.â
âalright. if you need any help just let  me know. iâm ingrid, by the way.â
auntwcndythecat:
â i know, but maybe i want to see the little peanut growing inside of you. even though freya was mad, thisâŚ.this is huge, ingrid. you girls have never been pregnant before. this means history is changing. see ?? your aunt wendy was right again. â
âwell, you wonât see much yet. iâm barely showing. itâs  probably still super tiny. i still wish she wasnât mad..  i can understand why she is, but i wish she wasnât.  and yes. you were right about this.â
wasleftbehind:
âIt is. Thank you. How-How are you?â
âgood, iâm glad. iâm well. iâve been a  little tired lately, but thatâs about it.â
âuh, hey there. can i help you with something?â
âyou know you didnât have to come with  me, right? iâm able to get an ultrasound  on my own.â
âi hope my old bedroom is  working well for you.â
starter call !
â what?! â the witchâs voice raised about three octaves from its original tone when those words left ingridâs lips. she could hardly believe this. evidence would come spiraling back toward the beauchamps. this would be like the 1800â˛s all over again. only, this time, theyâd all be poked and prodded at. â ingrid, how could you do something like this?! sleeping with dash? thatâs one thing. but committing murder is entirely another! oh, my god. this is bad. this is SO bad. â           yep. wendy was officially freaking out. there had to be some kind of spell to undo this. to bring back the dead? no, that came with a price. erasing someoneâs memory? also came with a price. what the hell were they going to do? â okay, okay. donât panic. if dash is in jail, and they havenât come snooping around yet, we still have time. you need to go downstairs right now, ingrid, and tell freya whatâs going on. either you do or i will. everyone is going to be involved now. â          great. now, sheâd have to be the one to tell joanna what ingrid had done. she knew that if it came from her, maybe it wouldnât be so bad? she could at least convince her not to yell.Â
it was way too early for all of this. at this point, ingrid was just wishing she could go back to sleep and deal with all of this later. however, that wouldnât happen. âwendy, calm down! i didnât kill anyone! i just helped him hide the body.. thatâs not the point, though. there is no way they could ever find out i helped.â
with a sigh, she pulled a pillow up over her face and groaned into it. this was one of the things that she didnât want any of her family to find out. she was honestly very angry that wendy and freya had spelled her. she set the pillow down and looked up at her aunt.
ânext time you want to know something, just a s k. and if i donât want to tell you then, i will eventually. there are some things i deserve to have kept a secret until iâm ready to tell people. and you will tell freya nothing. i will tell her. right now, youâve done enough.â
                    freya || continued from here
âthe human body is nothing to be weirded out about. although this is starting to feel like a strange type of orgy. we should probably go.â
` in misery , we trust .
she wants to believe it , believe that her fathers death wasnât her fault but itâs hard and itâs a constant thought that plagues her mind despite how much she wants to shake it . that moment will haunt her forever , as will others she canât believe she had . â well i can tell you , i always get happy and then some shit happens . â      for a minute , she laughs . itâs a sad laugh , broken but itâs better than the complete lack of communication sheâs had with anyone in the last few days . â wait â but werenât you like evil or something back then ? â
with a soft smile, she looked over at her sister. sure that laugh wasnât a happy one, but it was better than nothing.
âi wasnât evil, per se.. okay, that is not the point. the point is, that yes life might be shit right now, but we will fight past it.â
maybe she was finally cheering her sister up just a little. thatâs all she wanted to do. make her sister feel better and get her to be social with the rest of their family.
âhow about we go downstairs? wendy and i made some brownies. you could have a few of those and just be with all of us?â
â yep. you were totally into them. took all i had in me not to kill ya. â            wendy smiled, tucking her legs under her as well, leaning back on her palms. it was such a nice day out. a breeze, the soft hum of the dragon flies and the water moving about in the lake. she couldnât remember when life had been this calm. usually, the brunette was moving a million miles an hour. now, she got a little relaxation time with one of her two favorite nieces.      â do i smell brownies? â
âthatâs so strange. and you so would not  have killed me.â
with a grin, she handed wendy her sandwich and     one of the water bottles. a soft laugh escaped her     lips as she shook her head and closed the basket.
âi have absolutely no idea what youâre talking  about. eat your sandwich first and then you  might smell brownies.â
âI really wish there was a simple answer to that, but there isnât.  I stayed, for a lot of reasons.  Not the least of which, to save my familyâs lives.  Had I gone with you when you left, he would have hunted us down, and made our lives hell.  I stayed, to protect you all.  And for it, I was given this place.  And his trust.â
âi understand that itâs your gift, but youâd rather be...here than with family where we live? well, where they live. also, youâre probably going to have to explain all of this to freya when she joins us.â
â Oh no, I wasnât asking you to. My apologies if it seemed that way. I just heard that there is a strange herb that can only be found in the woods of East End. â
âoh! itâs alright. and iâm not sure. i stay out of the woods around here. they seem like they could be easy to get lost in.â
And he wastes not a second of those allotted two minutes to dart through the library ( like he knows exactly where heâs going ) and selects possibly the strangest, most obscure and spooky book probably within the shelves, and presents it to the young librarian with an accomplished little smile.
once he ran off, ingrid moved behind the computer and booted up the computer so she could check the book out for him. she looked at the book as a brow rose. âokaaay then. do you have a card so i can check it out?â

â maybe you should check your s p e l l s a bit more closely ! i love you ingrid , but i do not need you controlling me . â
âi didnât mean to almost control you, freya. plus itâs not my fault. that spell was very vague.â
&&. so, bayley and i came up with a name for ingridâs unborn child. which would be a girl, basically. ember ophelia beauchamp. /glances at dashboard. someone should totally do the thing. ya dig?
âwell um, could ya not look at me like that?        i know itâs a bit odd. itâs um shoot.â she        glanced down to the ink written on her hand.      âwicca: A guide for the solitary practitioner  â
âright, sorry.â     nodding, ingrid wrote the name of the book     down on a piece of paper. âlet me see what i can do. iâve read all of those types  of books here, for research of course, and i donât  remember that one.â
