I HAVE been saving up. It’s like $7,000. And HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE GO THROUGH WHAT I GO THROUGH AND I do SEE THEM ASKING FOR CHARITY FOR IT BECAUSE IT’S A LOT OF MONEY AND WITH A SHITTY JOB (PART TIME AT THAT BECAUSE OF LIFE) IT’S HARD TO GET THE MONEY. 

So do your research before telling me (or anyone) that they should stop being a ‘lazy butt’, especially when they’re not.

This actually makes me insanely mad because there are a bunch of people asking for help with raising money for surgery. 

In general, the cost of FTM Top Surgery ranges from $3,500 - $9,000 USD. This may or may not include consultation fees. A down payment is usually required to secure a surgery date. The amount of this down payment varies by surgeon but usually ranges between $500 - $2,000, and up to 50% of the total Top Surgery cost. 

No one has that kind of money just laying around, and if they do, good for them. They’re probably famous or work five jobs. Not everyone is that lucky. At least he works and is saving up as well instead of just NOT having a job and asking for people to help out. 

And I’m sure this is just something against him in general because I’ve been in the general tags for top surgery on tumblr and he’s definitely not the only one asking for help on tumblr or ANYWHERE else. People post things about it everyday, so why are you just messaging HIM telling him he’s lazy and shouldn’t be asking for help?

Especially with something like this. I was one of the lucky ones that had amazing help from family.
