Hotch: What do we say when life disappoints us?
Reid: Called it.

Criminal Minds Challenge - Three Quotes [1/3] ↳ “This is calm, and it’s Doctor” (7.01)
Prentiss: *getting drunk at the club*
Morgan: Don't drink too much, you'll be miserable.
Prentiss: I'm miserable right now. That's why this is happening.
For the fic name game: "Those Nights Kept Me Alive"
“Thank you,” you said out of the blue one day at the roundtable right before the rest of the team got in.
“For what?” Spencer blinked his big brown eyes up at you from the files he was speeding through.
“For letting me bug you when I couldn’t sleep over the winter…”
Slowly closing the documents on the table in front of him, “you didn’t bug me, you never bug me.”
Of course, that would be his response. That was always his response. Every time you had knocked on the door of his hotel room, he would always give you that same reassuring look and tell you over and over again that it was completely fine and that you were doing the right thing, letting a friend help you when you so clearly needed it.
When you felt his hand close over yours, you shut your eyes and let out a small sob, “it’s just… you don’t know how much it meant to me… those nights… they kept me alive…”
“Y/n…” he exhaled, stroking his thumb over your knuckles.
“I’m sorry,” you looked up to the ceiling, trying to stop the now steady flow of tears, “I shouldn’t have said that-“
Placing a hand on your cheek, he gently tipped your head down to look him in the eye, “Y/n? Are you okay?”
Catching a few tears on his fingers, you felt your body start to relax again, “I’m getting there… slowly.”
Morgan: Are you crazy?
Prentiss: Legally? No. Reid says there's not a word for my condition.
*JJ walks into the break room*
Emily: I bet you can’t fit another one.
Morgan pushes another mini marshmallow into his mouth which is stuffed with them
Reid, marking down a tally: sixty two marshmallows
Emily: I bet you can’t fit another one
Morgan goes to pick up another marshmallow
*JJ walks out of the break room*
Y/N: My life is a joke.
Reid: That's not true.
Y/N: You're right...
Reid: *smiles*
Y/N: ...jokes have meaning.
Reid: *frowns*
ok so there’s a game me and my friends play called “don’t get me started” and basically someone gives another person a random topic and they have to go on an angry rant about it and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us at parties and car rides so I highly recommend playing sometimes with your friends
I love this idea. We used to do things like this in Improv.
Related game: “THINK ABOUT IT.” You’re given a random topic, and your job is to build it into an epic conspiracy theory, the crazier the better. You end your rant with a serious face and the command that your listeners “Think about it.”
Another related game: Illuninati. Similar to Think About It except you are given 2 completely different topics and you have to connect them to each other in a wild conspiracy rant
Rb to safe an awkward hang out
me and my friends play “World’s Greatest Expert” where one of the other players says “Hey, I heard you’re the world’s greatest expert on ____” and you have to give an in depth (and probably completely false) lecture about the thing you’re the greatest expert on. Other players are allowed to ask you questions.
The version I learned was ‘Ah Yes’ in which someone gives you a work of art or famous landmark and you go “Ah Yes, the ____” in a posh accent while making up the most wildly inaccurate history of the topic. Bonus points for how hard everyone laughs.

Hotch: Reid what are you doing here so late?
Reid: Working.
Hotch: Go home. You're gonna hate yourself in the morning if you don't get any sleep.
Reid: Joke's on you, I'm gonna hate myself in the morning no matter what!
Reid: You know that feeling of disappointment after you wake up in the morning instead of dying in your sleep?
Morgan: No...
Reid: Oh, okay then, nevermind.
Morgan:
Reid:
Morgan: Oh, so we're just not gonna address that.

am i the only one curious about spencer’s 3-4 imagined futures? 😭 s14 eps 12 do you have any idea or headcannons?
Oh my gosh I would love to know this. And I do t really know the criteria for imagined futures (such as, can you go back way in time and change things?), but here is my guesses
Unfortunately I think one could be about him and JJ. And If they’d gotten together before Will existed
Also I think it’s very likely he has an imagined future with Maeve if she lives since she’s talked about a lot in that last season
However unrealistic, one where he was able to cure schizophrenia before he was 30 like he told Emily he thought he should have
I might add to this but I would love to know what y’all think
I think he would have one where Elle stayed and they got together.
Reid: I'm making a film about my life. Hotch, I think you should play the role of my father.
Hotch: I don't want to be your father.
Reid: Perfect, you already know your lines.
Hotch: *walks into the room*
Morgan: (*defensively*) Whatever you're mad about--I didn't do it.
Hotch: We'll see.
