About This Blog!!

i realized that it would be really convenient for me personally to have a tumblr for my ao3 account so…here it is!!

i so far have written for the yellowjackets, glee, supergirl, bridgerton, and the hunger games (sunrise on the reaping) fandoms

i’m not very popular so i don’t really know what to put on here BUT just in case anyone ever wants to for some reason, editing or making art of my writing is allowed and strongly encouraged that’s genuinely my biggest dream

i use any pronouns but prefer they/them

i’m asexual and also a lesbian and even though i know everyone says ace people wrote the best smut i’m more on the sex repulsed side and don’t want to write any of that sorry!!

becoming more active in fandom spaces is so fun but also im the type of person who can never keep my cool about anything ever. im a theatre kid and when there are other people around me who are so incredible at what they do i genuinely start acting like they’re a celebrity and it’s the same thing online i guess. every time a fic author i like has any sort of interaction with me i actually freak out. i didn’t know you could be socially awkward over tumblr but its been happening. someone needs to tell me to chill OUT.

writer’s block came back already im so annoyed. usually when i have plenty of things started then it won’t get very bad because i have a bunch of options and i don’t have anything i need to be consistently working on but its still not working for me. i have plenty of ideas and i have like five projects that ive started and nothing that i feel pressured to put out so i don’t really know what my problem is. i would love to post maydove soon though they’re literally all i can think about its so crazy. ship between two characters who we never see speak to each other btw 🫩 it’s just such an incredible concept like yeah of course they would work romantically. i also have a lot of projects i would like to start but don’t really know how to (including ANOTHER maydove fic of course) so i just feel kind of stuck. like nothing is coming out when i try to write. maybe i should just do a few drabbles or other super short fics and that would help but that’s never been my sort of thing.

yet ANOTHER new clip of haymitch staring at lenore dove’s lips while they’re talking to each other (about politics no less.) they’re the number one straight relationship of all time. im going to write a fic about them for his birthday. also maybe a wymitch one if i have time. let that man be happy with his boyfriend and his girlfriend its his BIRTHDAY. also there were hayffie crumbs in there too i love multishipping the hunger games if you’re not then you’re really missing out.

ive had a tumblr for my fanfic writing for like four days and i think all ive done is say ‘this part of writing is so hard to me’ why am i doing that? i think im gonna write a super short maydove oneshot right now instead of trying to wrote a comprehensible maydove au while im genuinely on (prescription) drugs that make me super loopy and sometimes hallucinate. i think in general i should just write what i want. i am NOWHERE NEAR a professional why am i acting like i have to do things im a fic author. im just gonna write stuff. and have fun. time to make maydove kiss and not post it. i haven’t written fics for myself in nearly a year. what am i doing genuinely. if you’re a fic writer you should write and post what you want and if something is hard to write to the point of you not wanting to write it at all then don’t. only write it if you actually want to. and ask people for advice. just not me

AUs kind of stress me out a lot. it’s nice to do the spider-man ones because i know a lot about spider-man and it already has several of its own separate realities. but now with this one im trying to write im in my notes app writing which hunger games character is which stardew valley npc and if i like wiress/beetee as a ship and would be willing to write them as robin and demitrious and also their kids are johanna and ampert. i think this would be fun but im on a crazy strong sleep medication

i started a new stardew valley playthrough and went through the first spring so if i write my maydove stardew au it’ll be easier to like have a timeline but now im thinking about how or if i should include the community center stuff. like it could just be cute little maydove focused fic or i could add like. the game’s actual plot. i don’t know if i will though because i don’t know how to incorporate it in a way that would really make sense. i want it to be about maysilee and lenore dove but having the game’s plot as a side plot seems kind of hard to manage? i don’t know im just having thoughts. i have other maydove ideas but nothing really fully formed and i also have several other fics in the works as well. i really do need to start writing something for maydove though they’re driving me insane so i’ll probably start writing today and post the first chapter in the next few days. i just need to decide between including the real game plot or not.

kind of mad at the person who asked me for a maydove fic because now maydove is all i can think about. ive been in maydove withdrawal. how do i fix this. probably i need to get out of my writer’s block and write something for them and that would help but that’s a whole other problem. how do you get out of writer’s block. im stuck in a spiral oh my god. i miss maydove. i hope someone posts some sort of maydove content on any social media platform soon im going crazy

if i do jackienat, lottienat, and lottielee along with my jackieshauna spider-man fics then i can either let jackie have a turn with a spider-sona and then nat can have one for the lottienat one and then lottie can have one for the lottielee fic but i think laura lee as spider-man would be a really interesting concept so the alternative to that would be jackie not getting a spider-sona. ive been trying to figure out how im gonna do this for months and i still don’t know. i could always write two lottielee or two jackienat fics or whatever but i have no clue what im gonna do initially. maybe if i get more people following me on here i can do a vote or something 🫩

i think the biggest issue with my writing is my lack of confidence because i over compensate for things i think the story is lacking and then it just sounds stupid. maybe now that im on zoloft it’ll get better

i think i need to get back into the actual spiderjackets fics ive been writing because i have outlines for most of them and ive started the marikilah and taivan ones but i guess i lost motivation on marikilah’s and then i don’t have access to the taivan ones anymore like i can’t get to it 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 it actually doesn’t matter and im gonna write what i want to for myself but i feel like having just the one fic in the series after like 9 months looks stupid 🫩 i think i just have like ocd about this or something idk my psychiatrist isn’t done looking into the possibility of me having ocd or something similar i just want to finish my writing and i miss marikilah BAD they should’ve kissed

so, unfortunately, i made the mistake of writing a fic based on a real life crush i have on someone. (Let The Light In on ao3 if you want to read it, it’s franchaela and pretty decent just, you know, unfinished) never do this unless you think it’s really gonna work out. i haven’t updated said fic in months because i’ve been spiraling over this crush. it is 100% unrequited. i don’t know if i’ll ever get around to finishing Let The Light In but it might happen? i’ve decided to start working instead on a maydove fic since a friend of a friend of mine requested it and i’ve now reread THE maydove fic (Sick of Losing Soulmates by funlildude on ao3 or @theballadofthesunandthestars on tumblr) like three times and think that writing something else would help me to move on from this awful crush that i have. im losing my mind. i never want to crush on a white, blonde, bi/pan/unlabeled girl with stunning blue eyes ever again. it’s been 3/3 bad experiences. not to say that if you are white, blonde, bi/pan/unlabeled and you have stunning blue eyes youre evil i just can’t do it again 🫩 i started playing stardew valley a few months ago and thought hayley was sooo maysilee donner coded so i might do a stardew valley maydove fic i hope that’s interesting to someone 🙏🙏
